Yu-Gi-Oh!
- This card's lore was: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing two monsters on your opponent's side of field and is Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field. This card inflicts 700 points of damage to the Life Points of this card's controller during each of his/her End Phases. If you Special Summon this monster, you cannot Normal Summon or Set a monster during the same turn.
- In episode 126, Yami Marik played this card against Joey Wheeler. He Tributes Joey's "Jinzo" and "Baby Dragon" to summon this card to Joey's side of the field. In the next episode, Joey attacks Marik's "Plasma Eel" with it, but Marik activates "Relieve Monster" to return "Plasma Eel" to his hand and Special Summon it in Defense Position. It cannot be destroyed by battle, so it is able to defend Marik's Life Points. Once Joey ended his turn, this card's effect activated, inflicting 700 points of damage to Joey. Yami Marik then used "Machine Duplication" to summon two more "Plasma Eels". They then equipped themselves to this card and "Rocket Warrior" respectively. Joey then activated "Graceful Dice" and targeted its effect on the unequipped "Plasma Eel". Joey gets a six which means "Plasma Eel"'s ATK rises to 3000. This in turn negates "Machine Duplication"'s effect and destroys the "Plasma Eels" that were equipped onto this card and "Rocket Warrior" respectively, freeing them from the effects of those "Plasma Eels". Joey then Tributes this card, "Panther Warrior" and "Rocket Warrior" to Summon "Gilford the Lightning".
- In episode 135, this card is seen in a flashback Yugi has when he remembers Joey's Duel against Yami Marik.
- In the Japanese anime, this card's attack name is Golem Volcano, but Jonouchi decides to rename it to Jonouchi Fire.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- During episode 155, Yubel uses this card in her Duel against Jaden. She removes this card from play via "Chain Material" along with 11 other monsters in order to use "Super Polymerization" to Fusion Summon Super Fusion God (which will cause the twelve dimensions to be united which will cause catastrophic results). However, Jaden activates "Spiritual Fusion", allowing him to choose the Fusion Material Monsters instead.
