The Fortune Fairies, known as Fortune Telling Witches in the Japanese version, are a series of 6 sprites, who are named and colored according to their own Attribute. The card text on each Fortune Fairy tells the fortune of the person who draws it along with listing a lucky number, color and item.

To date all the known ones are Spellcaster-Type Normal Monsters with 0 ATK and DEF. Each have a different Level from 1 to 6.

In the first episode that they were used in a duel, it appears that their play style focuses on summoning as many as possible as fast as possible, using cards such as "Advance Fortune Loan" and "Unacceptable Results", then using "Miracle Stone" to increase their ATK.

The Fortune Fairies are used by Carly Carmine in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Carly's use of these monsters partially mimics Sartorius's use of his Arcana Force monsters as tarot cards

All of these cards have a fortune written on them (lucky number, color etc.) The lucky color and number correspond to that monsters attribute and level. The fortune may be based on the luck of you having it in your hand, e.g. it would be unlucky to have a level 6 normal monster with 0 ATK and DEF.

Fortune Fairies aren't appears in OCG/TCG, however they are only appears in video games Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 4 which are playable.

After Carly becomes a Dark Signer, she begins using an alternate version of these cards known as the Fortune Ladies, which are a more powerful version of the Fortune Fairies.
