Spiders is the archetype of Insect-Type Monsters used by Roman Goodwin, from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
Only a few of the "Spiders" monsters made their appearance in the anime.
So far the Spider archetype only has 1 Synchro monster. The Underground Arachnid. In the anime, it is a Dark Synchro Monster. But in the TCG, it is just a normal Synchro monster. No existing Tuner monsters exist in the Spider archetype yet. You would think there is one with Dark Spider's effect involving levels. They did have a Dark Tuner Monsters in the anime, but does not exist in the TCG. Spiders do not have any tuners yet, and no DARK type Insect tuners haven't come out yet either, so your best with finding a different type of LV2 Tuner. But this may be a problem when summoning Mother Spider, so I suggest getting Mother Spider out before summoning any non-Insect Tuner to Synchro Summon.
Their effects revolve around changing the opponent's monsters into Defense Position and taking advantage of your opponent's monsters while they are in that position. Position changing cards such as "No Entry!!," "Stumbling," "Curse of Anubis," "Koa'ki Meiru Beetle, and "Security Orb" serve to make their effects easier to activate. Since some of their effects also rely on having a certain number of Insect-type monsters in your Graveyard, "Foolish Burial" and even self-milling, through cards such as "Needlebug Nest", "Magical Merchant" and the Lightsworns might also prove useful as well.

Aside from anti-Insect support such as Insect Barrier, this deck is useless against any deck that uses Final Attack Orders. So it is best to always run basic staples to destroy backrows. Solemn Judgement, Dark Bribe, Dust Tornado, and many more. You can run Heavy Storm as well.
