A Spellstone Counter is a type of counter used exclusively by a select few cards. From their initial introduction in Starstrike Blast, they were only generated by the activations of monster effects. Random support for it arrived in Duelist Alliance, where they now could be generated by sending "Shaddoll" monsters to the Graveyard via card effects. Among these few cards, they are used for diverse effects.
