• This card's effect is designed to counter the other Duel Terminal Archetypes, which are all Attribute-based. The story of the Duel Terminal during Duel Terminal - Xyz Startup!! is that the "Vylon" Alliance (i.e the alliance between the five Archetypes) had won the war against the "Steelswarm", but the fighting between the four other tribes had not ended. The "Vylon" wish for a utopian world, and as that does not seem possible, they decide to eradicate life on the Duel Terminal Planet.

• This is the first "Vylon" Xyz Monster to be released as well as being the first Xyz Monster to be released as a member of any Duel Terminal Archetype.

• This is the first Fairy-Type Xyz Monster to be released in the Duel Terminal

• This card's effect is similar to "Ally of Justice Catastor".

• Since the "Vylon" were allied with four other archetypes, and this card can only absorb three effect monsters, it is possible that the "Gem-Knights" are the ones meant to stop the "Vylon" in the story, since they are the only one of the four archetypes with non-effect monsters, and would then have some immunity to this monster's power.

• This card's name comes from Disigma (also known as Sampi); an archaic letter of the Greek alphabet which stands for the "ss" or "ts" sound.
  • The monster's arms also resemble the letter.

• Shown by Duel Terminal's animation, this Xyz Monster is the result of "Vylon Stigma", "Vylon Tesseract" and "Vylon Pentacro" combined. They are stacked above each other with "Vylon Stigma" on the top, "Vylon Pentacro" at the bottom, and "Vylon Tesseract" in between. They're all also Level 4 monsters, same as this card's Rank.
  • They're all released in Duel Terminal - Xyz Startup!!.

• This card design looks similar to the "Time Lords", and it also shares their Fairy-Type.

• Also it is similar to "Cyberdark Dragon" the reason why is that it is made up of three monsters ("Vylon Stigma" + "Vylon Resseract "+ "Vylon Pentacro") like all the other "Cyberdark" monsters are.

• This Card Shares some similarities with Sigma the Commander of Megaman X:
  • Both were once the Leader of an organization which sought good, Maverick Hunters and "Vylon".
  • It is Implied that the "Vylon" Became Corrupt after fighting the "Steelswarm" and decided to eradicate life on the Duel terminal Planet as they wanted a Utopia. "Sigma" became corrupt after fighting Zero.
  • After witnessing the endless conflict of the tribes in the planet and disheartened after losing the former "Vylon" commander, "Vylon Omega" Disigma grew even more disillusioned with Life On the Planet and decidided only "Vylon" Were fit to survive and only they could create a Utopia. Sigma grew disillusioned with Humans; Deciding Reploids had infinite Potential, he tried to create a Reploid Utopia.
  • Their name is similar to Sigma, Vylon Di-Sigma.

• Although not easily seen on the card's artwork due to the frontal perspective, this monster actually has a beak, despite being a Fairy, rather than Winged Beast. However, it can easily be seen in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 051, where this card is presented at an angle, which makes it far more noticeable.
