• This card can be Synchro Summoned through various means, for example;
  • In a T.G. Deck, It is possible to Summon it through the use of 2 "T.G. Hyper Librarian" and 1 "Formula Synchron", or 1 "T.G. Wonder Magician", 1 "T.G. Recipro Dragonfly" and 1 "T.G. Hyper Librarian".
  • Fish Synchro Decks are able to summon this card using "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth"'s effect, which is used to summon 2 "Oyster Meister" and 2 "Fishborg Blaster", that can be used to summon "Armory Arm", "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and "Formula Synchron".
  • Yusei-themed Decks can Summon this card using many different combinations, such as 2 "Junk Warrior" and 1 "Formula Synchron" or "Junk Gardna", "Turbo Warrior", or "Drill Warrior" with "Armory Arm" and "Formula Synchron". Cards such as "Glow-Up Bulb", "Unknown Synchron", and "Salvage Warrior" also helps this type of Deck to summon "Shooting Quasar Dragon" quickly.
  • Psychic Decks can Summon this easily by abusing either "Telekinetic Power Well" or "Taciturn Psychic Priest" with "Mind Master" and Synchro Summoning 2 "Magical Android" and then Tuning "Mind Master" with "Doctor Cranium".

• Use this card with "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" or "Dimensionhole" in order to summon a free "Shooting Star Dragon" while keeping another powerful Synchro monster.

• When summoning this card, it is likely that you will incur a significant loss of hand advantage, so be sure to run multiple copies of "Pot of Avarice" to recover the lost Synchro materials, and "T.G. Hyper Librarian" and "Formula Synchron" to draw extra cards while summoning this monster.

• "Armory Arm" is a great card for this monster's Material, since it is low-Level and can piggyback on a stronger monster to keep it alive between turns.

• Use this card against Monarchs, Dragunity, Junk Decks, and other archetypes that are heavily dependent on Normal Summoning monsters to gain effects.

• This card can create a mini-lockdown when played with "T.G. Halberd Cannon", as you will be able to negate the first summon and first effect the opponent plays each turn, meaning that they will have to sacrifice many cards to remove the monsters from the field.

• This card can have a minimum of 2 attacks per turn. Thus if it is equipped with Shooting Star Bow - Ceal, you will be able to inflict a significant amount of damage per turn.

• Although highly impractical, it is possible to summon this card with 4 maximum attacks using a combination of multiple T.G. Recipro Dragonflys, Formula Synchron, and Armory Arm. However, this combo requires significant card advantage to pull off.

• You can Synchro Summon this card easily if you have "Dandylion" and "Quickdraw Synchron" in your Hand and "Spore" , "Glow-Up Bulb" and "Quillbolt Hedgehog" in your Graveyard:

1) Discard Dandylion to Special Summon Quickdraw Synchron via its effect and thus summoning two Fluff Tokens.Then tune Quickdraw Synchron with one Token to Synchro Summon "Drill Warrior" , "Junk Gardna" or "Turbo Warrior".

2) Special Summon Glow-Up Bulb via its effect and then tune it with the other Token to Synchro Summon "Formula Synchron" and draw one card via its effect.

3) Activate Spore's effect to remove from play Glow-Up Bulb and Special Summon Spore as a level two Tuner.Then Special Summon Quillbolt Hedgehog via its effect and tune it with Spore to Synchro Summon "Armory Arm" or any Level Four Synchro Monster.

4) Finally Tune Formula Synchron with Drill Warrior or Turbo Warrior or Junk Gardna and Armory Arm to Limit Over Accel Synchro Summon "Shooting Quasar Dragon".

With this combo you use two cards from your Hand, draw one card and you can still Normal Summon a Monster.
