Yu-Gi-Oh!

Anime

  • In episode 3, Joey Wheeler trades for this card on the boat to Duelist Kingdom. Joey later shows Yugi the cards he got from trading with the passengers on the boat and this card is shown among the cards Joey shows.
  • In episode 6, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Yugi giving him the "Time Wizard" card during the ride to Duelist Kingdom as well as Yugi saying to him there are some things that you can see that can't actually be seen.
  • Joey used this card first in his duel against Mai Valentine. He summoned it on his second to last turn of the duel. On the last turn of the duel, he used Time Wizard to transform it into "Thousand Dragon". Joey then destroyed Mai's Harpie Lady Sisters with it.
  • In episode 11, this card appears in Joey's thoughts when he thinks of the strategy that might help him defeat Rex. This card also appeared in a flashback Joey has when he remembers the combo he used to beat Mai and believes it can probably help him win again.
  • Joey played this card on his first turn in his duel against Rex Raptor. However, Rex destroyed it with Two-Headed King Rex before he could play "Time Wizard".
  • In episode 18, this card appears within a series of flashbacks Joey has when he remembers all the times that "Time Wizard" gave him a miraculous win.
  • This card appeared again in Joey's duel against Bandit Keith. Joey then succeeded in the effect "Time Wizard" enabling him to turn this card into "Thousand Dragon". This also weakened "Barrel Dragon" enough for "Thousand Dragon" to destroy. However Keith then used "Time Machine" to bring his monster back to how it was the previous turn and reduce the Battle Damage that he would have taken to 0.
  • This card was used once more in Joey's duel with Yugi Muto in the Duelist Kingdom finals. Yugi attacked this card to prevent Joey from summoning "Thousand Dragon", but Joey then activated "Kunai with Chain" to negate "Dark Magician"'s attack and immobilize it. "Kunai with Chain" was then equipped to "Garoozis" and then it increased "Garoozis" and this card's ATK by 500. Joey then succeeded in the effect of "Time Wizard", enabling him to summon "Thousand Dragon" in this card's place. However this also turned "Dark Magician" into "Dark Sage", strengthening it instead of weakening it.
  • Joey used this monster again in his duel with Espa Roba. Joey succeeded in "Time Wizard"'s effect and was able to transform this card into "Thousand Dragon". He had done this in an attempt to weaken Espa's "Jinzo". Unfortunately it didn't work as "Jinzo" was completely unaffected by the effect of "Time Wizard".
  • This card is one of the five monsters Joey summoned to keep Gansley, Crump, Johnson, and Leichter busy while he, Serenity, Duke, and Tristan try to escape. This card is destroyed by Leichter.
  • Joey used this card once more in his duel with Yami Marik. It was originally summoned in Defense Position. After Joey got his "Jinzo" out, its effect then activated, destroying all of Yami Marik's Traps. Joey then switched this card and "Panther Warrior" to Attack Position. After "Jinzo" destroys "Legendary Fiend". Joey sends this card to attack Yami Marik directly, however Yami Marik activates "Dark Wall of Wind" reducing all Battle Damage from direct attacks this turn to 0. Yami Marik later forcibly tributes this card and "Jinzo" to summon "Lava Golem" on Joey's side of the field.
  • In episode 126, this card is shown in a flashback that Yami Marik has while he was trying to figure out what was the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard. After his assumption with "Alligator's Sword" was wrong, he deduced that the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard must have been a card that his "Helpoemer" randomly discarded from Joey's hand.
  • Joey used this card again in his second duel with Kaiba. On the second to last turn of the duel, Joey summoned "Time Wizard" and succeeded in its effect, allowing Joey to transform this card into "Thousand Dragon". Joey also attempted to weaken "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" with this combo, but Kaiba used "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" to banish "Blue-Eyes" before the effect of "Time Wizard" could affect it. "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" then returned "Blue-Eyes" back to the field, leaving Joey with no other options to turn the Duel around or prevent himself from losing.
  • In episode 161, this card is shown in a series of flashbacks that Joey has when he recalls all of the hardship that he endured in the past and explains to Rex that anybody who loses so many times should keep trying and never give up.
  • In episode 185, this card is shown in Rick's Deck when Yugi looks through it.
  • In Yugi's duel against the duel computer at Kaiba Land, Yugi summons Baby Dragon in Defense Position. It would later be destroyed by the Duel Computer's Jinzo next turn.
  • In Capsule Monsters, Baby Dragon was Joey's capsule monster.
