  • Notable monsters that can be Summoned with "Kinka-byo" include:
  • "Relinquished" - it can equip itself with an opponent's monster.
  • "Cyber Valley" - remove "Kinka-Byo" and "Cyber Valley" to draw 2 cards, giving you a +1 in advantage.
  • "Copycat" - you can use "Copycat" to suicide an opponent's big monster. Thus, "Copycat" gets back in your graveyard; because "Kinka-Byo" returns to your hand, you can repeat this combo again and again.
  • "Red-Eyes B. Chick" - tribute it to Special Summon the powerful "Red-Eyes B. Dragon".
  • "Fortune Lady Light" - when "Kinka-Byo" returns itself to the hand in the End Phase, "Fortune Lady Light" is removed from play and you can Special Summon a Fortune Lady from your Deck. This also sets up for "Fortune's Future", which would allow the combo to be repeated on your next turn.
  • "Grave Squirmer" - use "Creature Swap" to switch it with an opponent monster, then attack it with "Kinka-byo" to send it to your graveyard and destroy one card your opponent controls, finally attack with the monster your opponent gave you.
  • "Mystic Piper" - You can revive this card each turn with "Kinka-byo's" effect to tribute and draw up to 2 cards.
  • "Jurrac Aeolo" - Revive it each turn to special summon a Lv4 Jurrac from your grave, or synchro summon the two into "Formula Synchron".
  • Use this card with "Creature Swap". That way, you get a free monster.
    • You can search Kinka-byo with "Key Mouse", revive it with "Kinka-byo's" effect and recycle "Key Mouse" with "Creature Swap".
  • Use this card's effect to summon "Moja", then use "King of the Beasts's" effect to tribute "Moja" and summon itself to the field.
  • If you tuned this card with "Turbo Synchron", you could immediately follow up by special summoning "Dark Simorgh".
  • An Alien Deck, which requires several Draw Engines, can benefit from this card if it is used to summon "Alien Ammonite", as you can then use both to Synchro Summon "Formula Synchron".
  • This and the other Spirit Monsters can easily counter the effect of"Light and Darkness Dragon". Since returning Spirit monsters to the hand during the End Phase is obligatory, "Light and Darkness Dragon" will negate it again and again until his ATK is too low for him to continue negating.

Traditional Format

  • "Substitoad" - Using "Kinka-byo" to Special Summon "Substitoad" from the Graveyard allows you to use effect of "Substitoad" effect to Special Summon Frogs from your Deck each turn, making "Kinka-byo" a considerable option in a Frog Deck.
  • "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" - it can equip itself with an opponent's monster while hindering other monsters from attacking or changing battle positions, and when it is removed from play, so is the opponent's monster.
  • "Destiny Hero - Disk Commander" - draw 2 cards when "Kinka-byo" Special Summons this monster from the Graveyard.
