"Shark's Counterattack!" is the tenth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japaon on June 13, 2011.
Yuma is reminded that his victories in his current Duels are due to Astral's help. To prove his skills, he fights Shark once more. Though Shark doesn't care to Duel again, he finally agrees when he finally reaches the end of his rope due to Yuma's constant following him around. The Duel of these two begins. Can Yuma win against Shark, who has no "Number" cards, when he himself declares he won't use his "Number" cards or require the aid of Astral!?
Featured Duel: Yuma Tsukumo vs. Ryoga Kamishiro
Yuma's turn
Yuma Normal Summons Gogogo Golem (1800/1500) in Attack Position. He sets a card face down and ends his turn.
Ryoga's Turn
Ryoga Normal Summons Killer Frilled Shark(700 ATK) in Attack Position. He then Special Summons Sharksucker(200 ATK) to his field due to it's own effect. He overlays his 2 monsters to Xyz Summon Aero Shark(1900/1000) in Attack Position. Ryoga removes one of Aero Shark's Overlay Units, Sharksucker, to activate it's effect, inflicting 400 points of damage to Yuma's Life Points for each card in Yuma's hand (Yuma's LP: 4000 --> 2400). Ryoga plays Mystical Space Typhoon, destroying Yuma's set card Battle Break. Aero Shark attacks and destroys Gogogo Golem (Yuma's LP: 2400 --> 2300). Ryoga sets a card and ends his turn.
Yuma's Turn
Yuma draws Monster Reborn, and summons Gagaga Magician(1500/1000) in Attack Position. He plays Monster Reborn, Special Summoning Gogogo Golem to his field. He overlays his Gagaga Magician and Gogogo Golem to Xyz Summon Number 39: Utopia(2500/2000) in Attack Position. Yuma calls for the attack of Utopia towards Aero Shark, but Ryoga removes his previously sent Killer Frilled Shark from his graveyard to decrese the attack points of Utopia by 500 (Utopia's ATK: 2500 -->2000) and negates the attack. Ryoga then activates his set card, Fish Rain, allowing him to special summon Big Jaws(1800/300) to his field in Attack Position. Yuma ends his turn.
Ryoga's Turn
Ryoga removes Aero Shark's other Overlay Unit to activate it's effect (Yuma's LP: 2300 --> 1500). Ryoga Normal Summons Skull Kraken(600/1600) in Attack Position. Ryoga overlays his Big Jaws and Skull Kraken to Xyz Summon Black Ray Lancer(2100/600) in Attack Position. Ryoga removes one of Black Ray Lancer's Overlay Units to negate the effects of Number 39: Utopia. Black Ray Lancer attacks and destroys Number 39: Utopia (Yuma's LP: 1500 --> 1400). Aero Shark attacks Yuma directly (Yuma's LP: 1400 --> 0).
