Yu-Gi-Oh!
- In the Japanese Anime of Yu-Gi-Oh! and Manga of Yu-Gi-Oh! R, Negate Attack was a Quick-Play Spell Card used by Seto Kaiba and Leon von Schroeder. It could also block 'redirected' attacks, such as when Mirror Force was used.
- In the dub version of yugioh second series episode 10 when Mimic of Doom activated this card, Yami Yugi said that Mimic had a magic prepared, but in that case Negate Attack was purple, so in that moment it was a Trap Card not a Spell Card, in the Japanese version it was a Quick-Play Spell Card.

- In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, it was changed to a Trap Card in order to follow the TCG rules.
- Although, it still appeared in the GX Japanese closing song Borderline Battle as a Spell Card.
- Jaden Yuki uses this card in various episodes throughout all four seasons.
- Nightshroud/Atticus uses this card against Zane Truesdale.
- Bonaparte set this card during his duel with Vellian Crowler, but was unable to activate it.
- When dueling Doctor Collector, The D used this card.
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
- In episode 65, Ghost used this card to negate Goyo Guardian's attack while protecting Wise Core against Officer Trudge.
