Card Tips:Super Polymerization

"Super Polymerization":

If your opponent controls a "Hex-Sealed Fusion" monster, use this card with one of your Fusion Material Monsters to pre-empt their attempt to Special Summon and get your Fusion Monster.

You can also use it very effectively if your opponent has taken control of one of your Fusion Material Monsters with cards such as "Mark of the Rose", "Paladin of the Cursed Dragon", etc.

This card works well with "DNA Surgery", allowing you to clear your opponent's field and Special Summon monsters like "Five-Headed Dragon" and "Chimeratech Overdragon".

Ironically, this card can also used to counter Elemental HERO decks, especially if you run a single-Attribute decks such as Gishki, Gem-Knight, Laval or Gusto, where they can Summon "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero", "Elemental HERO Gaia", "Elemental HERO Nova Master" and "Elemental HERO Great Tornado, respectively. By running the Vision HERO monsters, you can easily fuse away two or three of the opponent's Heroes.
- It's a nice counter especially against "Elemental HERO The Shining", since "Super Polymerization" cannot be chained and because "The Shining" is being used as a Fusion Material Monster, its effect cannot be activated due to "missing the timing" rule.

With the release of Fusion Monsters that are a combination of Synchro Monsters and other material monsters, you can use this card to take advantage of your opponent's monsters after they have been Synchro Summoned.
- You can use your opponent's Warrior-type Monsters or Dragon-type Synchro Monsters to fuse for "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste".
- You can use your opponent's T.G. Hyper Librarian and T.G. Wonder Magician before they can Synchro summon and have a Supreme Arcanite Magician on your side of the field.
- Since Fabled Monsters are capable of rapidly Summoning Synchro Monsters and have their effects activated when discarded, this card can be very powerful in a Fabled deck. Fabled monsters have their effects activated in a separate chain so they will resolve normally.

This card can completely devastate Horus decks since its trump card, "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8", cannot negate "Super Polymerization" and it can easily be stolen for the Fusion Summon of "Five-Headed Dragon" or "Elemental HERO Nova Master".

Using this card together with Chain Material, you'll be able to tag out a Five-Headed Dragon or Chimeratech Overdragon very easy.

One tactic you may like to use with this card is to activate this card as Chain Link 2 when you foresee your opponent adding another card to the chain which would combo well with Chain Link 1. "Super Polymerization's" effect will then prevent them from using the second card for their combo.
- You can also stop the accumulation of Chain Links to prevent Chain Link Cards, such as "Chain Detonation", from being used.

This card's discard use can actually be put to good use when Summoning cards like "Cyberdark Dragon", you can discard a card like "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "Tyrant Dragon" to power up "Cyberdark Dragon".

Since this card is a Quick-Play Spell Card, you can use it during your Battle Phase to get an extra hit, or to save your monsters from cards like "Sakuretsu Armor" or "Dimensional Prison". This combo is specially useful with "Multiple Piece Golem": Since you had "Big Piece Golem" and "Medium Piece Golem", is more than likely that you have "Small Piece Golem" too. Using "Super Polymerization" on this situation will allow you to get 4 attacks instead of 3. Also, at the end of your Battle Phase, you can return "Multiple Piece Golem" to your Extra Deck, allowing you to Special Summon "Big Piece Golem", "Medium Piece Golem", and due to the effect of the latter, maybe even another "Small Piece Golem".

Similar to the above idea, use this card right after your Fusion Material Monsters have all attacked, attack with your newly Summoned Fusion Monster, then use "De-Fusion" to get back your material monsters for a new set of attacks.
- If the above combo is utilized correctly with 5 Dragon-Type monsters for Five-Headed Dragon (preferably with your Stardust Dragon or Stardust Spark Dragon along with Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and any other dragons with 2800 or more ATK), you could gain a possibility of eleven attacks. Be sure to possibly have Royal Decree activated to negate Traps such as Non-Fusion Area or Gravity Bind.

Activate "Ojama Trio" and use the opponent's "Ojama Tokens" to Special Summon "Ojama Knight". Alternately, Special Summon two copies of "Ojamagic" with "Magical Hats", and then use them to Special Summon "Ojama Knight".

Use with "Mystic Box" or "Creature Swap" by giving 1 Fusion Material Monster you control to your opponent. Then use "Super Polymerization", since you can use your opponent's monsters as Fusion Material Monsters.

If a monster you need is in your opponent's Graveyard, you can draw it out with cards like "Foolish Revival".

A great combo is combining this card with "Urgent Tuning" and "De-Fusion" (only use Urgent Tuning for a Synchro-Fusion Summon and De-Fusion when Fusion Materials needed are in your Graveyard)

There is a way to dodge this card when playing against HERO decks: activate "DNA Transplant" and change the Attribute to DIVINE.

If you have 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons removed from play, activate Return from the Different Dimension to Special Summon them back, and any other removed monsters if possible. Attack with the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons, then activate Super Polymerization to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" and attack with it.
- If you have De-Fusion, use it to return "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to the Extra Deck, and Special Summon the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons from the Graveyard and attack for a possible KO.

Use this in "Shaddoll" decks against DARK or LIGHT Decks to Fusion Summon "El Shaddoll Winda" or "El Shaddoll Construct".
