- Wheeler used this monster during his duel against Jaden Yuki in episode 13. Wheeler then used this card to attack and destroy "Elemental HERO Sparkman". This card was then destroyed by "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman". The latter's effect then inflicts damage to "Flame Wingman" equal to the ATK of this card.
- In episode 84, Syrus Truesdale duels a Slifer Red student as part of the Genex Tournament. The student Tributes his Berserk Gorrila for Jinzo, just as the Duel Robot did.
- In episode 111, "Berserk Gorilla" briefly appears in one of the battles during the tournament hosted by Adrian Gecko, where it destroys a Gyaku-Gire Panda.
- During episode 157, this card can be seen in a briefcase that Chazz Princeton and Alexis Rhodes put in a locked room, among other "defective" cards.
- This card appears in the second version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX opening 99%.
