Duelist Kingdom

  • During Yami Yugi's first duel against Maximillion Pegasus, this card made its first appearance. It was destroyed by Dark Magician, which Pegasus was controlling with Eye of Illusion. In this card's first appearance it was called "Elf Swordsman" but was corrected in later episodes.
  • During Yami Yugi's duel against Ghost Kaiba, it made its next appearance in where Yami Yugi has it destroy Kaiba's Grappler. It stayed on the field until the duel ended.
  • During Yami Yugi's duel against Panik, this card was summoned on Yami Yugi's opening turn then destroyed by Panik's Barox.
  • During Yami Yugi's and Joey Wheeler's tag-team duel against the Paradox Brothers, Yami Yugi summoned this card which was immediately attacked by the brothers' Wall Shadow. However, Joey activated Kunai with Chain, capturing Wall Shadow and raising this card's ATK to 1900 so that it could destroy Wall Shadow. It was later destroyed by the brothers' Dungeon Worm.

Naming

In the Spanish Anime, this card was known as "Guardia Celta".
