- In episode 34, Tres overlays his "Chronomaly Colossal Head", "Chronomaly Golden Jet" and "Orichalcum Chain" to Xyz Summon this card. It attacks and destroys Shark's "Black Ray Lancer", detaching an Xyz Material to Special Summon the destroys "Black Ray Lancer" from the graveyard and attack it again. Shark later destroys "Orichalcum Chain" via "Skull Kraken" to take control of this card. Shark then attacks Tres directly. Tres attempts to take control of "Skull Kraken" via "[[", but Shark activates "", taking away the target of Tres' card, making the direct attack successful. Tres then attacks this card with "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut", but Shark chains "Plate Salvage", negating the effect of "Deep Sea Kingdom - Sunken Kingdom", reducing "Shark Drake's" ATK and in turn, reducing the damage he took from "Crystal Chrononaught's" effect. He then attacks "Crystal Chrononaught" with "Shark Drake", but Tres activates the effect of "Colossal Head" from the graveyard, switching it to defense position. Shark then activates the effect of this card, detaching it's last remaining Xyz Material to revive "Crystal Chrononaught", reduce it's ATK by 1000 and attacks it again. Tres activates "Chronomaly Ley Line Power" to switch their ATK, but Shark chains "Deep Sea King's Judgment" to negate and destroy the trap, allowing "Shark Drake" to freely attack and destroy "Crystal Chrononaught", winning Shark the duel.
- In episode 57, Shark Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Hammer Shark" and "Tripod Fish". It attacks and destroys Quattro's "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Killer". Shark detaches an overlay unit to attack it again, but Quattro activates the effect of "Gimmick Puppet - Night Joker", removing "Shark Drake's" target. Quattro then Xyz Summons "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet Heaven's String" and equips it with "Destiny Strings", sending "Gimmick Puppet - Necro Doll" from his deck to the graveyard, allowing him to attack this card 8 times. Quattro then activate's "Heaven's String's" effect, detaching an overlay unit to place a String Counter on this card.
- In episode 58, Shark banishes this card via "Different Dimension Trench". He later tributes "Deep Sweeper" via it's own effect to destroy "Different Dimension Trench", allowing this card to return to the field. He then performs Chaos Xyz Evolution on this card, overlaying it with itself to Xyz Summon "Number C32: Shark Drake Vice". This card is then detaches to activate the effect of "Shark Drake Vice".
- In episode 61, Shark overlays "Shocktopus", "Spear Shark" and "Two-Head Shark" to Xyz Summon this card.
- In episode 062, Shark attacks and destroys Yuma's "Gogogo Ghost" with this card. He then detaches an overlay unit to revive "Gogogo Ghost" and decrease it's ATK by 1000, forcing it to battle again. However due to the effect of "Gogogo Ghost", it revived "Gogogo Golem" and switched to defense position. Yuma later attacks this card with "Gogogo Golem" powered up via "Golden Form". Shark then performs Chaos Xyz Evolution, overlaying this card with it's remaining overlay units to Xyz Summon "Number C32: Shark Drake Vice". This card is later banished from the graveyard to activate "Shark Drake Vice's" effect. After Shark loses, Astral claims this card.

- In episode 68, Astral gives this card alongside "Number 39: Utopia" to Yuma in order to defeat Dr. Faker. Yuma then gives this card to Shark to use in the duel against Dr. Faker.
- In episode 69, Shark Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Hammer Shark" and "Xyz Remora". He then attacks "Number 53: False Skeletal God, Heart-eartH" with this card, inflicting 2800 damage to Dr. Faker. However, "Heart-eartH" reflects half of the damage to Shark. Kite then uses this card to attack "Heart-eartH" again, activating "Photon Prevent", to negate the effect damage he would have sustained via "Heart-eartH's" effect.
- In episode 70, Shark performs Chaos Xyz Evolution on this card, overlaying it with it's remaining Xyz Material to Xyz Summon "Number C32: Shark Drake Vice". It is later sent to the graveyard when "Shark Drake Vice" was banished via "Number 92: False Skeletal God Dragon, Heart-eartH Dragon's" effect.
