TCG Rulings
- If you Tribute “Poison Draw Frog” for the attack, you can activate its effect.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The monster effect "This card can attack 3 times during each Battle Phase" is a Continuous Effect.[2]
- The monster effect "Each time this card declares an attack, you must Tribute 1 Aqua-Type monster" is a Continuous Effect.[2]
- You Tribute 1 Aqua-Type monster in your Monster Zone when "Hydra Viper" declares an attack. If there is no Aqua-Type monster in your Monster Zone, "Hydra Viper" cannot declare an attack.[2]
- You can Tribute a face-down Defense Position Aqua-Type monster in your Monster Zone when "Hydra Viper" declares an attack.[2]
- If a face-up "Poison Draw Frog" is Tributed when "Hydra Viper" declares an attack, you can activate the effect of "Poison Draw Frog" to draw a card at the timing of "Hydra Viper" declaring an attack.[3]
