TCG Rulings
- If "Poison Draw Frog" is destroyed by "Acid Trap Hole", you can draw 1 card.
- When a face-up "Poison Draw Frog" equipped to "Relinquished" is sent to the Graveyard, you can draw 1 card.
Mentions in Other Rulings
- D.D. Survivor: If "Macro Cosmos" is active on the field and a face-down "D.D. Survivor" on your side of the field is destroyed by battle, its effect will not activate. "D.D. Survivor" needs to be face-up when it is selected as an attack target in order for its effect to activate. (Similar to "Poison Draw Frog".)
- Giant Kozaky: Like "Atomic Firefly", "Fox Fire", and "Poison Draw Frog", if a face-down "Giant Kozaky" is attacked and destroyed, its effect is not applied. However, if a face-down "Giant Kozaky" is attacked, and is not destroyed by the attack, if "Kozaky" is not face-up on the field, then "Giant Kozaky" is destroyed by its own effect after damage calculation, and damage is inflicted by its effect.
OCG Rulings
- If a face-up "Poison Draw Frog" is Tributed for "Hydra Viper", then you can activate the effect of "Poison Draw Frog" and draw one card.[1]
- When resolving the effect of "Shock Troops of the Ice Barrier", the effects "destroy 1 face-up WATER monster on the field" and "add 1 "Ice Barrier" monster from your Deck to your hand" are considered to resolving simultaneously.[2]
- Example: If "Shock Troops of the Ice Barrier" destroys "Poison Draw Frog", then the effect of "Poison Draw Frog" can be activated.[2]
