• Use this cards effect to easily blow through monsters who are difficult to destroy by battle, like "Shield Wing", "Naturia Beans", and "Fortress Warrior".

• "Final Attack Orders" combined with "Light of Intervention" should work well with this card. This combo can be used to rid the field of stubborn monsters such as "Spirit Reaper" and "Marshmallon".

• Use this card with at least 1 Burden of the Mighty to beat most monsters in battle.

• This card is an excellent counter measure when playing against decks that use low level monsters with lots of attack points, such as "Thunder King Rai-Oh", "Elemental HERO Stratos", etc.

• "Exploder Dragonwing" can possibly be used to inflict more damage with its effect than damage caused by a normal battle. However, keep in mind that monsters with ATK points lower than 1200 will deal less damage.

• This card can be quite effective against the lower-level Gladiator Beasts,particularly because players tend to use cards that prevent their destruction through battle like "Waboku", "Gladiator Beast's Battle Manica" or similar cards.

• Combo this card with "Revival Gift".

• This card can avoid the effects that only activate when monsters are destroyed by battle, such as "Mother Grizzly" or "UFO Turtle".

• Use "Nightmare Archfiends" to inflict 2800 damage for each token.
  • Use the above tip with "Battle Mania" to force your opponent to possibly inflict 8400 damage to themselves.

• This card's effect works regardless of battle position. You can attack a face-up defense position monster and destroy it if its attack is lower. You can also use "Shift" to redirect the attack back to "Exploder Dragonwing".

• Cards like "D. Tribe" can make summoning this card easier.

• Because "Vice Dragon" is a Dragon-Type Monster, it is easy to use it with a level 2 Tuner Monster.

• It can attack twice by using "Miracle Locus" or "Double Attack".

• In order to defeat a high-ATK monster, you can use "Union Attack".

• "Shrink" can also help considerably, if the opponent's monster is at least 1 ATK stronger than this card.

• Use "Instant Fusion" to summon "Darkfire Dragon" then tune with a Level 3 Tuner to Synchro Summon this card.

• Increase the ATK of this card with cards like "United We Stand" to destroy more powerful monsters like "Judgment Dragon".

• "Lord of D." with "The Flute of Summoning Dragon" can allow to Special Summon 2 Dragon-Type Monsters one Tuner and one Non-Tuner for easy Synchro Summon this card and protect this card that target from Card Effect at the same time.

• This card is perfect for using against any of the "Yubels".

• "Delta Flyer" in combination with a level 4 Dragon-Type monster can bring this monster out easier. You can also use the effect of "Delta Flyer" to increase the level of level 3 dragon-type monsters in a "Cyberdark" deck.

• This card is an excellent counter against card effects that can only activate during damage calculation, such as "Honest" and "Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow".

• With the release of "Poki Draco", "Debris Dragon" has another Dragon-Type monster it can Special Summon to form the Synchro Material Monsters of this card, besides "Trigon".

• This card works well with "Mirror Mail" as it increase this card's attack so you can destroy stronger monsters and burn more damage.
