- Use this card to remove an opponent's monster by attacking directly, potentially leaving the field open so your other monsters can attack directly. This is especially useful with monsters like "X-Saber Airbellum", "Wattberyx", and "Don Zaloog".
- If you remove from play a monster such as "Montage Dragon" or "Megarock Dragon", its attack will become 0 when it returns to the field.
- This card works well with the second effect of "Necroface".
- This card also works well with "Fortune Lady Light"'s second effect.
- During your Main Phase 2, activate "Ground Collapse" or "Ojama Trio", or Normal Summon "Numbing Grub in the Ice Barrier" to prevent the removed monster from being able to return to the field.
- "Watt" cards equipped with "Wattcube" will have its attack boosting effects removed if you remove them from the field, so be careful when using "Wattpheasant"'s effect in a deck that hinges on "Wattcube"'s ability to make your ATK or the ATK of your other Thunder monsters stronger.
- If you Special Summoned a monster using the effect of a card such as "Wattkeeper" or "Return of the Six Samurai" and remove that monster from play using this card's effect, it will not be destroyed during the End Phase.
- Remove from play a monster equipped with a Union Monster or an Equip Spell Card to destroy the Union Monster/Spell Card.
- You can remove from play Xyz Monster to detach all of its Xyz Materials.
- You can remove from play a monster equipped with a card such as "Call of the Haunted" or "Limit Reverse" to have that card be stuck on the field, serving no purpose. This can either be used to partially restrict your opponent's Spell & Trap Card Zone, to be reused with the effect of a card such as "Giant Trunade", or to protect your own monster (because if the equip card is destroyed, so is the monster; if the equip card becomes detached, it will no longer effect that monster in any way).
- You can remove a card such as "Stardust Dragon" or "Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En" to regain the ability to use a card that would destroy a card on the field, or activate a spell or trap card until the End Phase.
