  • The Bandai version of this card is a Level 6 Warrior-Type monster and has 1200 ATK & 2400 DEF. The Konami version of this card is a Level 3 Rock-Type monster and has 1300 ATK & 2000 DEF. (It is also brown in the Bandai version and grey in the Konami version.)
  • At the time of this card's release, it was one of the most powerful level 3 monsters in terms of attack and defense but was made easier to obtain than the weaker Mystical Elf, whom had nearly half the ATK but one more star in its Level and was found in the same set.
  • The Giant Soldier of Stone is actually holding two swords. One is slightly hidden under his right arm, only tip of sword sighted.
