"Holactie the Creator of Light":

In Egyptian mythology, Ra-Horakhty was more of a title, or manifestation, than a composite god. It translates as "Ra (who is) Horus of the Horizons". It was intended to link Horakhty (as a sunrise-orientated aspect of Horus) to Ra. It has been suggested that Ra-Horakhty simply refers to the sun's journey from horizon to horizon as Ra, or that it means to show Ra as a symbolic god of hope and rebirth. This link was probably encouraged by Ra and Horus' common link to the sun and the Pharaoh.

Kazuki Takahashi posted the artwork for this card in the gallery on his website before its OCG release was announced.

This card has a Sacred Beast-exclusive Fusion Monster counterpart, "Armityle the Chaos Phantom".
- Both are Level 12 and are extremely difficult to Summon due to their conditions.

This is the only card to have a five-letter/number set abbreviation in the card number.

This card is the 4th DIVINE monster to be released for the OCG.
- This card is the only DIVINE monster that isn't Divine-Beast-Type. The legal version was given its own new Type, the Creator God-Type.

This is the 7th card to feature an "Instant Win Condition". The other 43 are: "", including the anime-exclusive card "Deuce".
- This is the only "Instant Win Condition" monster card so far that isn't a DARK attribute monster.

This is the only monster with both ? ATK and ? DEF and does not have an effect which determines the ATK/DEF value while the monster is on the field.
- This is also the only level 12 monster to have ? ATK/DEF.

This is the second Level 12 card to require a Special Summon specifically from your hand. The other is "Meklord Astro Mekanikle".
- "Malefic Truth Dragon" and "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" are Level 12 monsters that can be Special Summoned, but they can be Special Summoned from your hand and Graveyard.
  - While "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" can be also Special Summoned from the Deck, by the mention in the effect of "Yubel - Terror Incarnate".

This is the first card to be based off a monster spirit, as opposed to the reverse.

Aside from Token Monsters and Trap Monsters, this is the only monster in the game that can never be Flip Summoned.

This is the second card that mentions "(printed)" in its card text. The first is "Solidarity".

Despite this card being an Egyptian God Card, it is Special Summoned, while the other are Egyptian God Cards are Normal Summoned to obtain their full potential.
- This is also the first DIVINE card that doesn't have Special Summon limitations.
