- This card has the same effect as "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode", except the difference is that this card loses ATK and DEF whereas the latter must/can be tributed.
- On that latter note, this cards ability to have its power stats reduced after negating a card effect is similar to the Tails effect of "Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler."
- This card's artwork features the ring of halo present in "Archlord Kristya", "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning", "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End", "Master Hyperion" and "Machina Peacekeeper".
- It also features in "Machina Fortress", but it was present as a floor instead.
- "Light and Darkness Dragon" appears in the artwork of "Guidance of Light and Dark".
- This card has an all light and an all dark version of itself in the forms of "Dark End Dragon" and "Light End Dragon" since both of the cards are used by Chazz Princeton in the Manga and both of their effects have a similar self-attack reducing effect.
- This card has a WATER and FIRE counterpart, "Frost and Flame Dragon".
