- This card can be searched by "Reinforcement of the Army", "Aussa the Earth Channeler", "Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights", "Promotion", "Puppet Pawn", "Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior", "Infernoble Knight Captain Roland", "Arcana Extra Joker", "Wake Up Your Elemental HERO", "Iron Knight", "Freed the Matchless General", "Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Summoner Monk", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- Normal Summon "Marauding Captain" then Special Summon "Field-Commander Rahz" through "Marauding Captains" effect to get a Level 4 or lower Warrior to the top of your Deck like "Command Knight" or "Exiled Force" or another "Marauding Captain" to make a lock.
- Use this card with "Swiftstrike Armor" in a Six Samurai Deck.
- Summon "Field-Commander Rahz" then play "Monster Gate" to guarantee the Special Summon of your searched Level 4 or lower Warrior.
- By activating "Soul Rope" during your opponent's turn, and Special Summoning "Field-Commander Rahz" from the deck, you will also get "Field-Commander Rahz's" effect and then you'll get whichever monster you selected at the beginning of your next Draw Phase.
