Card Artworks

Compression Artifacts

Compression artifacts are those specks that appear around the blacks parts. Removing them is not considered modification, since it reverts the image to its original form. Perversion of Justice (talk • contribs) 14:58, February 2, 2014 (UTC)

Those specks appear because they were saved as jpg images on the site where they originated. It's what makes JPG images look so blurry when compressed. Obviously, when they designed the cards, they didn't include them in the original image. So, technically, neither yours nor my versions are exactly the same as the original version. Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon

Hi, XBrain130. I've been comparing the effect of "Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon" with another cards and based on my comparisons I decided to edit the Card Effect Types (CET) of this card but you edit it again because you say: "Not a condition because otherwise it wouldn't be after the ③ in the Japanese text".

I compared "Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon" CET with CET "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" and "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" has the condition. Another cards with similar condition are: CXyz Skypalace Babylon, Number C9: Chaos Dyson Sphere, Number C92: Heart-eartH Chaos Dragon, Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, CXyz Coach Lord Ultimatrainer and other C and CXyz monsters more. I compared all of them and all has Condition in CET, but the difference is all of them don't have the Japanese text updated with ①, ②, ③, symbols except "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" but still "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" has Condition in CET.

I don't know if Card Effect Types are based on TCG or OCG because recently I realized that CET's "Amorphactor Pain, the Imagination Dracoverlord" are different in TCG and OCG about "If this card is Ritual Summoned: Your opponent skips their next Main Phase 1" effect and this card has the CET TCG version and now you say "Not a condition because otherwise it wouldn't be after the ③ in the Japanese text" referring to OCG version card text.

I hope can you solve this either correcting all C and CXyz monsters with similar effect and "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" erasing Condition in CET or correcting "Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon" adding Condition in CET. Also explain if CET are based in OCG card text or in TCG card text obviously when the card has already been released in TCG.

Card Tips:Odd-Eyes Fusion

Can you try experimenting to get rid of the Fusion Monsters on the list that actually can't be Special Summoned? And preferably without "manually" excluding them, since there's quite a few exceptions. Aaaah! I had the feeling I had lost a monster on the way. Didn't know which, though, and hadn't compared the lists. On the other side, I wasn't being able to exclude "Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer". Which is strange, because if I wasn't negating Cannot be Fusion Summoned, I would get a list with the exact monsters I wanted to exclude (including "Dinoster" and excluding "First of the Dragons"). So I have no idea why the negation partially fails.

Fullwidth on Korean names

When should fullwidth characters be used in Korean names? For instance, in Gold Series 2011; should it be "2011", as it is now, or should it be "２０１１"? Looking at the booster, it seems fullwidth, but I'm not sure. And what about in the case of "Deskbot 001" (here is a pic)? Should the numerical part of its Korean name be like it is now or something like ０（제로）０（제로）１（원） (to me, it seems it should be like this)? Or even another thing? My idea is that you have some knowledge on these matters, hence why I'm asking you. Help with Japanese names

Hi XBrain. May I ask for your help again? Could you give me a hand at Collectors Pack, please? I'm not sure on how to list the Japanese names for the Collectors Packs. The first two (CPZ1 and CPL1) seem to have only コレクターズパック on their booster packs. But for the others (CPD1 and onward), it seems they have ＣＯＬＬＥＣＴＯＲＳ ＰＡＣＫ with some Furigana on it (which is not listed on their article names (I believe)). So could you put some attention into it, please? I don't understand not even a bit of Japanese, and some symbols are very similar.
So, summing up: If I got it right, the Furigana is missing on CPD1 and the Kanji (ＣＯＬＬＥＣＴＯＲＳ ＰＡＣＫ) is missing from CPF1 (I'm not sure on how to spread the Furigana over it, hence why I'm requesting your help here too). And if you don't mind, please then add the full Japanese name of the Collectors Packs to the page I pointed in the beginning.
