The Duel

Yusei Fudo VS. Z-one

Z-one's turn

Z-one Special Summons Temporal Machine Priestess. This card can be treated as 2 Tributes for a Tribute Summon. Z-one tributes "Temporal Machine Priestess" to summon Metaion, the Timelord. He sets 1 card and ends his turn.

Yusei's Turn

(Yusei's SPC: 0 → 1) (Z-one's SPC: 0 → 1)

Since he controls no monsters and Z-one does, Yusei can Special Summon Double Delta Warrior. He then discards Quillbolt Hedgehog and Clear Effector to Special Summon Big Eater. As he controls a Tuner monster, Yusei Special Summons "Quilbolt Hedgehog" from his Graveyard. Yusei Normal Summons Debris Dragon, whose effect activates, Special Summoning "Clear Effector" from his Graveyard. He uses "Double Delta Warrior" and "Big Eater" to Synchro Summon Black-Winged Dragon. He then uses "Clear Effector", "Quillbolt Hedgehog" and "Debris Dragon" to Synchro Summon Red Dragon Archfiend. Yusei is unable to attack due to the effect of "Double Delta Warrior", while the effect of "Clear Effector" negates the effects of "Red Dragon Archfiend" and allows him to draw a card. Yusei Sets two cards to end his turn.

Z-one's Turn

(Z-one's SPC: 1 → 2) (Yusei's SPC: 1 → 2)

During the Standby Phase, "Metaion, the Timelord" returns to Z-one's Deck. He activates his face-down Zero Machine Ein, letting him Summon Razion, the Timelord without a Tribute as he controls no monsters. It attacks "Red Dragon Archfiend", but Yusei activates his face-down Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, negating the attack and resetting the card. Z-one Sets a card.

Yusei's Turn

(Yusei's SPC: 2 → 3) (Z-one's SPC: 2 → 3)

"Razion" inflicts 1000 damage to Yusei when he draws during his Draw Phase (Yusei: LP 4000 → 3000). Yusei activates Speed Spell - Angel Baton, drawing Junk Synchron and Regene Warrior, the latter of which he discards. This activates its effect, Special Summoning it. He Summons "Junk Synchron" and uses it and "Regene Warrior" to Synchro Summon Black Rose Dragon. He uses its effect, which would destroy all cards on the field. He then activates his face-down Synchro Barrier Force, negating his own effect and inflicting 500 damage to Z-one for each Synchro Monster on the field (Z-one: LP 4000 → 2500).

Z-one's Turn

(Z-one's SPC: 3 → 4) (Yusei's SPC: 3 → 4)

The effect of "Razion, the Timelord" activates, returning itself to Z-one's Deck during the Standby Phase.

Z-one sends "Zero Machine Ain" to the Graveyard to activate Infinite Machine Ain Soph. He uses the effect of "Ain Soph" to Special Summons Tzaphion, the Timelord, Zadion, the Timelord and Camion, the Timelord.

"Tzaphion" attacks "Black-Winged Dragon", but Yusei activates "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow", negating the attack and returning "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" to its face-down position.

"Zadion" attacks "Black Rose Dragon". The effect of "Zadion" prevents itself being destroyed and reduces the Battle Damage to 0. The effect of "Zadion" returns his Life Points to 4000 (Z-one: LP 2500 → 4000).

"Camion" attacks "Red Dragon Archfiend". Its effect prevents itself being destroyed and reduces the Battle Damage to 0. Z-one's Turn

(Z-one's SPC: 5 → 6) (Yusei's SPC: 5 → 6)

"Tzaphion", "Zadion" and "Camion" return to Z-one's Deck during the Standby Phase.

The effect of "Tzaphion" activates, causing Z-one to draw four cards.

Yusei activates "Insightful Cards of Reversal", drawing five cards: Synchro Believer, Synchron Keeper, Steam Synchron, Turbo Synchron, and Scouting Warrior. "Scouting Warrior" Special Summons itself through its effect. Yusei then Special Summons "Steam Synchron" through its effect.

Yusei uses the effect of "Steam Synchron" to Synchro Summon during Z-one's Main Phase. He sends "Scouting Warrior" and "Steam Synchron" to the Graveyard to Synchro Summon Ancient Fairy Dragon in Defense Position.

Z-one activates Crown of the Empress from his hand, drawing two cards: Sandaion, the Timelord and Infinite Light Ain Soph Aur.

Z-one uses the effect of "Ain Soph" to Special Summon Michion, the Timelord, Hairon, the Timelord, Raphion, the Timelord, Gabrion, the Timelord, and Sandaion, the Timelord.

"Michion, the Timelord" attacks "Ancient Fairy Dragon". "Michion" is not destroyed by battle and Z-one takes no Battle Damage. The effect of "Michion" halves Yusei's Life Points (Yusei: LP 1500 → 750). "Hairon, the Timelord" attacks "Ancient Fairy Dragon", but Yusei activates "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow", negating the attack and it returning "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" face-down.

Another effect of "Gabrion" activates, returning "Ancient Fairy Dragon", "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" and "Synchro Believer" to Yusei's Extra and Main Deck.

"Sandaion, the Timelord" attacks Yusei directly. Its effect to inflict 4000 damage activates. Yusei activates the effect of "Synchron Keeper" from his hand, removing itself and "Big Eater" in his Graveyard from play to Special Summon Power Tool Dragon and negate the damage from "Sandaion".

Z-one Sets 1 card in his Spell & Trap Card Zone.

Yusei's Turn

(Z-one's SPC: 6 → 7) (Yusei's SPC: 6 → 7)

Z-one sends "Infinite Machine Ein Soph" to the Graveyard to activate Infinite Light Ein Soph Aur, which negates the effects of the "Timelord" cards, which return them to the Deck during the Standby Phase. Since "Infinite Machine Ein Soph" is no longer active, its effect no longer reduces the ATK of the monsters Summoned by it to 0. ("Sandaion": 0 → 4000 ATK).

Yusei Normal Summons "Turbo Synchron".

He sends "Power Tool Dragon" and "Turbo Synchron" to the Graveyard to Synchro Summon Life Stream Dragon. The effect of "Life Stream Dragon" returns Yusei's Life Points to 2000 (Yusei: LP 750 → 2000).

Yusei used "Ancient Fairy Dragon", "Black Rose Dragon", "Black-Winged Dragon", "Red Dragon Archfiend", and "Life Stream Dragon" as its Synchro Material Monsters, so "Shooting Quasar Dragon" can attack 5 times. Z-one tells Yusei that the attacks are pointless, since Temporal Machine Gods cannot be destroyed by battle and Reduces Battle Damage to 0. Yusei activates "Shooting Quasar Dragon's" second effect, allowing it to destroy the Temporal Machine Gods. "Shooting Quasar Dragon" attacks "Temporal Machine God Michion", "Hairon, the Timelord", "Temporal Machine God Raphion", and "Temporal Machine God Gabrion", destroying them. "Shooting Quasar Dragon's" final effect activates, Yusei Special Summons "Shooting Star Dragon" from his Extra Deck. "Shooting Star Dragon" attacks Z-one directly (Z-one: LP 4000 → 700). Yusei activates Speed World 2's effect, removing 7 Speed Counters to draw 1 card (Yusei's SPC: 7 → 0). Yusei sets 1 card and ends his turn.

Yusei activates "Clustering Wishes" final effect, by returning a Dragon-Type Synchro Monster in his Graveyard to the Extra Deck, he can force his opponent to attack "Stardust Dragon". "Stardust Dragon" returns "Ancient Fairy Dragon" to the deck to attack "Sephylon, the Ultimate Timelord" (ATK: 23000 → 20900).
