The '''Barian Emblem''' is the emblem symbolizing the [[Barian World]] and its [[Barian|residents]]. It appears as a stylized blue [[wikipedia: Fleur-de-lis|fleur-de-lis]] with a cross-section that encloses a red diamond-shaped gem at center. Its origins lie in the past life of [[Reginald Kastle|Nash]], leader of the [[Seven Barian Emperors]], in which he wore it as a pendant.<ref name="ep108">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL|108|ref}}</ref>

After Nash's death in his past life, he was reincarnated as a [[Barian]] and was chosen as the Barian leader by the denizens of Barian World. Due to this, his emblem came to symbolize the Barian World and its residents. Each of the [[Seven Barian Emperors]] also possess similar emblems, though the exact relation is uncertain. Those who are brainwashed by a Barian have this emblem appear on their foreheads and no longer require the need of their own [[Duel Gazer]]s to see the [[Augmented Reality Duel|augmented reality]], as one of their eyes just becomes red instead.<ref name="ep74"/> When [[Vector]] possessed [[Dr. Faker]], the emblem appeared on his forehead.<ref name="ep71">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! The emblem also held the past memories of [[Nash]]. [[Dumon]] presented it to [[Reginald Kastle|Shark]], claiming it originally belonged to him, and as such, it would reveal the truth. He urged him to touch the Emblem and awaken his and [[Rio Kastle|Rio]]'s original memories from the [[Number ruins|ruins of the Numbers 73 and 94]], and remember his reasons for becoming the leader of the Barians.<ref name="ep119">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! [[Don Thousand]] also has his own variation of the Barian Emblem. It has thus far been seen when he has used his powers in other ways such as healing [[Alito]] and [[Girag]]; resulting in them having a malicious disposition.<ref name="ep99">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL|99|ref}}</ref><ref name="ep103">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL|103|ref}}</ref> A [[crest]] like image of this version of the Barian Emblem has also been seen being used by members of the [[Fearsome Four of the Dark Dueling World]] who use it to halve the opponent's Life Points and add it to their own at the very beginning of the Duel, effectively cheating.<ref name="ep112">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh!
