- In episode 88, Yuma Tsukumo uses this card during his Battle Royal Duel against Ray Shadows and Girag. He Xyz Summons this card via "Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force", which targeted "Number 39: Utopia". Yuma then activates this card's effect to detach "Utopia" and destroy "Chaos Number 106: Giant Red Hand" as well as inflict damage to Girag equal to the ATK of "Giant Red Hand". This card then attacks Girag directly and win Yuma and Ray the Duel.
- In episode 93, Yuma uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Anna Kaboom against Mayday Walker and Brooke Walker. He Xyz Summons this card via "Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force", which targeted "Number 39: Utopia". Yuma then activates this card's effect to destroy "Chaos Xyz Skypalace Babylon" and inflict its ATK as damage to Mayday, defeating the latter. This card then attacks Brooke directly, winning Yuma and Anna the Duel.
- This card also appears in a flashback Astral has when he ponder over the "Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force" card. While the coming battles against Barian World are bound to get more intense and that there is massive battle potential hidden within it, Astral has uneasiness that some mysterious unknown force is about to appear.
- In episode 94, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Vector (who was actually a clone created by the real Vector). He Xyz Summons this card via "Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force", which targeted "Number 39: Utopia". Yuma then activates the second effect of "V Salamander" to equip it to this card. Yuma then activates this card's effect to destroy Vector's "Number 66: Master Key Beetle" and two remaining "Umbral Horror Mirage Tokens" (whose ATK was equal to the ATK of "Master Key Beetle") with the help of the fourth effect of "V Salamander". Yuma then activates the final effect of "V Salamander" to inflict damage to Vector equal to the combined ATK of his destroyed monsters on the field, winning Yuma the Duel.
- In episode 96, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Vector (the Vector dueling was still a clone at that point). He Xyz Summons this card via "Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force", which targeted "Number 39: Utopia". The first effect of "Sargasso the Different Dimension Battlefield" then inflicts 500 damage to Yuma. Yuma then activates this card's effect to destroy "Number 104: Masquerade" and inflict its ATK as damage to Vector. After Ray Shadows reveals he was the real Vector and taunts Yuma for believing him, Yuma angrily uses this card to attack directly, but Vector activates "Vain Betrayer", which negates this card's effects and prevents it from attacking. In the next episode, this card is still on the field even as Astral gets corrupted by darkness and forcibly uses ZEXAL Morph to create Dark ZEXAL. In the following episode, Astral activates the first effect of "DZW - Chimera Clad" to destroy "Vain Betrayer" and equip "Chimera Clad" to this card. Due to the second effect of "Chimera Clad", this card's effects are negated. This card then attacks "Masquerade". The third effect of "Chimera Clad" prevents this card from being destroyed and Astral activates the final effect of "Chimera Clad" to double this card's ATK and let it attack again. This card then attacks "Masquerade" again, but Vector activates "Extra Hundred" to prevent "Masquerade" from being destroyed and allow this card to attack again. This card attacks "Masquerade" again, but the final effect of "Extra Hundred" makes the ATK of "Masquerade" equal to this card's ATK plus 100. The third effect of "Chimera Clad" prevents this card from being destroyed and Astral activates the final effect of "Chimera Clad" to double the ATK of this card and let it attack again. The reckless loop Astral conducted with "Chimera Clad" is repeated three more times, resulting in this card's ATK becoming 83200 and the ATK of "Masquerade" becoming 41700 (Due to the darkness corrupting Astral, he didn't care about the reckless attacks and damage he took). This card attacks again, but Yuma cancels Dark ZEXAL at this point (removing the darkness's influence over Astral) and ends his turn to avoid losing the Duel. After Vector Xyz Summons "Chaos Number 104: Umbral Horror Masquerade" via "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", the latter card attaches this card's Overlay Unit to "Umbral Horror Masquerade" and decreases this card's ATK by 300. Vector then activates the second effect of "Umbral Horror Masquerade" to destroy "Chimera Clad", removing the ATK boosts this card got from "Chimera Clad". "Umbral Horror Masquerade" then attacks this card, but Yuma activates "Xyz Revenge Shuffle" to reduce the damage he takes to 0. "Umbral Horror Masquerade" then destroys this card, but "Xyz Revenge Shuffle" returns this card to the Extra Deck and revives "Utopia".
- In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Vector has when he explains to Astral that if he had Yuma think he killed Ray, he would lose his cool.
- In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Astral has when Vector reminds him that he has been blaming Yuma for a long time little by little and the grudge he holds within his heart is the suspicion aimed at the one who betrayed him.
- In episode 103, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Dumon has when he reminds Alito and Girag (now awake) that they used up all their power in the human world and thus would have to sleep for a long time in order to recover.

- In episode 144, Astral uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He Special Summons this card and "Number 25: Force Focus" via "Rank-Up-Magic Dark Force" with their effects negated. Later this card attacks directly. In the next episode, "Gagaga Cowboy" (whose ATK was 2500 through its own effect) attacks this card and the effect of "Gagaga Mancer" increases the ATK of "Gagaga Cowboy" by 500 during damage calculation only. "Gagaga Cowboy" then destroys this card. In the final episode, this card is shown when Yuma counts up the number of "Number" monsters in both players' Graveyards for the effect of "Memories of Courage".
- In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Quinton has when he notes Yuma didn't forget that since Astral summoned "Utopia Ray" and this card by negating their effects, they could be destroyed in battle by non "Number" monsters.
