OCG Rulings
- The "You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Galaxy-Eyes" monster from your hand or Graveyard, except "Galaxy-Eyes Cloudragon"." effect is an Ignition Effect. (This effect does not target. A "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster in the Graveyard can also be targeted.)[1]
- Tributing this card is a cost to activate the "You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Galaxy-Eyes" monster from your hand or Graveyard, except "Galaxy-Eyes Cloudragon"." effect.[1]
- The "If this card is in the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as an Xyz Material." effect is an Ignition Effect that activates in the Graveyard. (This effect targets 1 face-up "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control.)[1]
- The "You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Galaxy-Eyes" monster from your hand or Graveyard, except "Galaxy-Eyes Cloudragon"" and "If this card is in the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as an Xyz Material." effects can be activated in the same turn.[1]
- When the "attach this card from your Graveyard to that monster as an Xyz Material." effect resolves, if the targeted monster is in face-down Defense Position because of the effect of a card like "Book of Moon", the effect of "Galaxy-Eyes Cloudragon" is applied normally and it is attached to the targeted Xyz Monster as an Xyz Material.[2]
- When the "attach this card from your Graveyard to that monster as an Xyz Material." effect resolves, if the targeted monster has been affected by the effect of "Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand", since the targeted "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster is unaffected by card effects, it becomes unaffected by the "attach this card from your Graveyard to that monster as an Xyz Material." effect. In that case, the "Galaxy-Eyes Cloudragon" that activated this effect remains in the Graveyard. (The effect is not applied, but you cannot activate the "attach this card from your Graveyard to that monster as an Xyz Material." effect again during the same Duel.)[3]
