OCG Rulings
- The effect "This card must attack if able." is a Continuous Effect.[2]
- The effect "When this face-up Attack Position card is selected as an attack target, change it to Defense Position." is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[2]
- The effect "When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, select 1 monster on the field and change its battle position." is a Trigger Effect. (It always activates when "Karakuri Merchant mdl 177 "Inashichi"" [sic] itself is Normal or Special Summoned. It targets.)[2]
- Even if it is Normal Summoned at Chain Link 2 or higher by the effect of "Ultimate Offering" or Special Summoned during the Damage Step by the effect of "Giant Rat", etc., the effect "select 1 monster on the field and change its battle position" will activate.[2]
