These Ruling(s) have not been confirmed as applicable to the TCG.[Notes 1] |
- If a monster Special Summoned by Miracle Fertilizer is used for an Xyz Summon, Miracle Fertilizer will not destroy itself.[1]
OCG Rulings
- This effect targets the Plant-Type monster to be Special Summoned, and continues to target the monster after it is Special Summoned.[2]
- If "Miracle Fertilizer" Special Summons multiple monsters, then "Miracle Fertilizer" is destroyed when any of the Summoned monsters are destroyed, even if some of the other Summoned monsters are still on the field.[3]
- If "D.D. Crow" or "The Transmigration Prophecy" are chained to "Miracle Fertilizer" and remove the targeted Plant-Type monster from the Graveyard, then the second part of "Miracle Fertilizer"'s effect is not applied and you can Normal Summon or Set this turn.[4]
- If you Special Summon a monster with "Miracle Fertilizer", and "Miracle Fertilizer" is destroyed during the same turn, you still cannot Normal Summon or Set for the rest of that turn.[5]
- The effect "●WIND: You must pay 500 Life Points to activate a Spell Card." of "Clear World" only applies to when a Spell Card is activated from the hand, or when a face-down Spell Card is activated. You do not pay 500 Life Points to activate the effect of a Spell Card which is already face-up on the field, like "Miracle Fertilizer" or "Blaze Accelerator".[6]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[7] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - "Miracle Fertilizer" targets the monster(s) Special Summoned by its effect, both when it is selected in the Graveyard and while it is on the field. If "Miracle Fertilizer" is returned to its owner's hand, any monster(s) that was Special Summoned by its effect is no longer targeted, even if "Miracle Fertilizer" is activated again later.
- If you Special Summon a monster with "Miracle Fertilizer", and later in the same turn "Miracle Fertilizer" is removed from the field, you still cannot Normal Summon or Set a monster that turn.
- If you Special Summon 2 or more monsters with "Miracle Fertilizer", when any of the Special Summoned monsters is removed from the field, "Miracle Fertilizer" is destroyed.
- If you activate the effect of "Miracle Fertilizer" and an effect is chained that removes the targeted Plant-Type monster from play, you can still Normal Summon or Set during that turn.
