I decided to actually join one of my own Deck Contests, and wouldn't mind some small opinions before I test the actual deck. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk)

This deck was actually quite painful to make, considering I only had 15 card slots in my extra deck. -Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:49, November 23, 2012 (UTC)
Honestly, I can see the amount of condition-specific cards you run to be dead draws often. I'm not sure what the contest theme is exactly, but "Gagaga Gardna", "Gagagabolt" and "Gagagarevenge" are bad cards. I'm not a fan of "Xyz Tribal", the number of Traps you run (4) means they'll become the only targets for MST/Heavy Storm, and therefore you won't get much use out of them. Can you further clarify how this deck works, besides the obvious Xyz spamming with the Gagagas.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 02:16, November 25, 2012 (UTC)
The card I have to build the deck around is Xyz Tribal. So far in my actual testing, the main game plan has been to tutor into Gagaga Magician and Xyz into something like a Gem-Knight Pearl to get the most out of Xyz Tribal, or into something bigger if I have a Gagaga Girl, or a Breaker and Resonance Device. Yeah, picking a trap to do was not the brightest idea, there's no real good way to search for it, and the basic design of the card itself is kinda flawed, because to get the most out of it, I can't use my Xyz monster's effects, although there are advantages when using Pearl and Thunder Charger. I might just drop Gagagabolt for another Breaker and Veiler, or even 2 Forbidden Lance. I actually liked using Gagagarevenge, but I surrender that Call of the Haunted might have been a better choice in most regards. If I drop the bolt, I'm also going to drop the Gardna as well, probably for another Girl, as I can usually get a Magician out fairly easily. I'll leave the build as is for now, and edit it a little later. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:42, November 25, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, Gardna screams "why is that there?" to me. I sort of get it. I'd definitely consider dropping as many situation-specific cards as you can. If you need help testing, hit me up on DN. It looks like a fun deck to play against, at least.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 02:44, November 25, 2012 (UTC)
No problem, thanks for the help so far. The deck is also really fun to use, besides the extra deck limit, although I totally understand why it's there in the first place. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:48, November 25, 2012 (UTC)

Version 2

Just a thought, how about DAD? You have a decent amount of grave control with Call, Reborn, and Creeping while the deck is mostly DARKs. I know you'll want your monsters in the grave rather than having them banished, but its still worth a shot atleast. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 04:26, November 26, 2012 (UTC)

I think DAD might be more dead in hand than anything else. It's true that I banish, but I don't banish enough to really make DAD viable. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:54, November 29, 2012 (UTC)

How about "Generation Force"? --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 12:17, November 29, 2012 (UTC)

Maybe, but it might end up a little deadish in hand, as much as this deck Xyz summons, I can't always keep a Xyz Monster on the board to make it worth it, I usually buy time with Breaker and Tragoedia, before I can do stuff with Gagaga Magician. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:32, November 29, 2012 (UTC)
Hmmm... Consider replacing "Level Limit" and "Pot of Duality" with "Messenger of Peace" (you can destroy it when you feel ready to make an aggressive play). Level Limit doesn't stop the opponent from Xyzing and killing your monsters. Pot of Duality only slows your Deck, since you can't Special Summon the turn you use it. Also, WHY haven't you included Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech" in a Deck that uses "Gagaga Girl"!? Look at her effect, and you will see my point.
Another thought here: Consider dropping the Tour Guides, Sangan, and Resonance Devices for the "Gogogo" monsters. (The Devices make dead draws without "Gagaga Magicians" and "Mind Control".) As such, replace some of the higher Rank monsters in your Deck with more Rank 4s. This would make your Deck more consistent but would also change your strategy a bit, so I'm not offended if you don't go with it. Take my first tips into consideration though. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 15:45, November 29, 2012 (UTC)
I like the first part. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:08, December 1, 2012 (UTC)
