Zuzu Confirmed[edit]

well the first dub was preview and we saw Zuzu's dub voice rename page (The Twinke Star in the Skies 17:53, May 23, 2015 (UTC))

I still don't see why the hell we use Dub names. It's ridiculous. We should be using ORIGINAL REAL names of characters as defaults. In fact, considering how phenaomenally awful the localisation is of the franchise in general, we shouldn't even acknowledge their English bastardisations. First off: Official or not, the only REAL official information is from the original source, not the bastardised versions. Second, I do not find the reasoning valid at all. We should use the original source material, not adaptations of it. It's the one thing about this wiki that I absolutely cannot stand, and makes me think it's run by a bunch of morons. Yourself included, Sanokal. Oh, also Sanokal, I was unaware that changing a "Y" to a "Z" and "Hiragi" to "Boyle" multiple times across potentially hundreds of pages counted as changing "a single letter". If a random wiki user (who got an account solely to put in his 2 cents on this matter) may interject for a moment...
I would like to point out that I also enjoy the sub over the dub, mainly because I'm a writing fanatic and I tend to cringe at much of the 4Kids dialogue. That being said, I see no reason to not acknowledge the dub. I knew about the dub long before I knew subs even existed, and I knew the dub names long before I ever knew the original names.
Had this wiki only used the original source material and I came here wanting to look up a character from the anime, I would have had no idea who was which character if only the Japanese names were used. For instance, if I wanted to look up Joey Wheeler but could only find someone named Jounouichi (can't remember his full Japanese name, or if I even spelled the name I put correctly), I would think that this Wiki was not helpful. And, if I typed "Joey Wheeler" into the search and was directed to the Jounouichi page due to a "also known as Joey Wheeler in the dub," I would sit there and wonder "whose idea was this"?
Personally, speaking as a viewer and not an editor, I don't see any reason to not use the dub names. Like it or not, it is official information, and plugging one's fingers into one's ears and saying "LALALA IT DOESN'T EXIST" won't change a thing. Opinion is not fact, nor is it a reason to make drastic changes to a wiki. And, since I'm not seeing any actual reasoning from the opposing side beyond not liking the dub, I think I'll stick with the side that actually knows what it's doing.

Name calling is not going to get you anywhere, Lugia. Cool it.
Psychopithicus has put basically everything I was going to say in better terms than I would have been able to to. It is a matter of accessibility and reaching the widest range of people.
Furthermore, these ARE NAMES. We still use the Japanese EVENTS, with dub changes in parenthesis (any articles that are doing this the other way around need to be updated, probably applies mostly to DM). Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 15:49, May 29, 2015 (UTC)

And here I was wondering how things would cool down. I apologize. That sounded like I'm trying to stir up trouble...actually, so does most of the stuff I put down here. Also, Lugia, I was assuming that it was just the "Zuzu" part of the name that people were whining about, because I don't care about her last name that much (and prefer Boyle to Hiragi), and while I do see why people don't like it, I got tired very quickly about people complaining. And like I said, if you want a wiki with the original names, go and fix up the garbage ARC-V specialized one. It needs it. It's a rather, unfortunate, glitch in the system that shows up every once in a while. Null Editing, clicking edit, then publish without changes, usually fixes it. PhotonLegion95 (talk • contribs) 18:37, September 14, 2015 (UTC)

Changing Zuzu's profile picture[edit]

I wanted to change the picture of Zuzu in the info box, but I don't know how. The reason why I wanted to change them is because I thought she looked cuter in these pictures:

  • From episode 84

  • From episode 142

I think it should be choice 1.
