Dave Stewart is a duelist who appears in the "Dimension Liberation" arc of Yu-gi-oh! GX (Eps 157-182). He first appears being tormented by The Earl of Demise. Jaden demands that he be freed, remembering the acts he commited while possessed. Earl of Demise agrees, on condition that that Dave beat him in a duel. Despite being worn down by The Earl's army of Fiend-Type monsters, Jaden encourages him, and Dave finally beats him by using Future Fusion to summon Five-Headed Dragon.
Later, while travelling through the different dimension, Dave reveals he was a former partner of Dr. Eisenstein, before falling out with him. Dave, angered at Eisenstein, vowed to discover a different dimension first, and set to work. He managed to find it, but was pulled in. He wandered aimlessly through the different dimension, before being captured by The Earl.
Soon, Jaden, Syrus and Dave find Adrian Gecko, being held captive by the hatred in his soul. Dave decides to duel Adrian to restore him, saying "I have nothing to lose." Dave wins, and returns with Jaden and co. to Earth, where he decides to reconcile with Eisenstein.
Deck[edit]
Dave runs a Dragon Deck. Using a devastating combo of Tainted Soul and Skill Negation, he can quickly summon an army of high-powered Dragon monsters. When in sticky situations, he returns his Dragons to his deck via Pot of Avarice, and fuses them into Five-Headed Dragon.
