Yami Yugi then activates this card's effect to destroy "Guardian Grarl" at the start of the Damage Step without applying damage calculation by discarding one card from his hand. Rafael activates his Set Quick-Play Spell Card "Self Tribute" to prevent "Grarl" from being destroyed by this card's effect.
