- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase" and "Chaos Zone".
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston", "Serenade the Melodious Diva" and "The First Monarch".
- You can combine this card with broad-spectrum Counter Traps like "Solemn Scolding", "Solemn Warning" or "Dark Bribe".
- Other useful Counter Trap Cards that you can use with this card are "Dark Illusion" (since you will probably be running "Dark Voltanis" in a deck with many other DARK monsters and "Black Horn of Heaven".
- You can easily Special Summon this card with "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen".
- This card can be used alongside with "Darklord Zerato" as they are both high-ATK, high-DARK Fairy monsters. Use "Celestial Transformation" along with "Inferno Reckless Summon" on either monster to Summon out 2 2800 beatsticks and a 1400, leaving your opponent with only 1000 LP (assuming they all attack directly), which should be easy to finish off because you still have your Normal Summon for the turn.
- Alternatively, these make useful Xyz Material for high-rank monsters like "Number 22: Zombiestein", "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", or "Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon".
- You can combine this card with the universal Counter Trap: "Solemn Judgement" (OCG and TCG Traditional Format Only).

- You can lessen the impact on you by Tributing cards whose effects activate in the Graveyard, like "Sangan"/"Witch of the Black Forest", or by using an opponent's monster you control through effects like "Brain Control" or "Change of Heart".
