- This card can be used as a quick counter to "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode".
- This is a reliable Side Deck card against "Dragunity", "Hieratic" and "Dragon Ruler" Decks.
- If a Dragon Deck is used and this card can easily be searched (due to cards like "Draconnection" or "Darkflare Dragon", for example), it's worth adding this card as a means to counter monster-stealing effects, such as "Creature Swap" and "Number 11: Big Eye".
- Use "Skill Drain", "Forbidden Chalice", "Axe of Fools" or "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" to allow this card to attack any monster, at the cost of it being unable to gain 1000 ATK when it battles a Dragon-Type monster.
