  • In episode 58, this card appears in a silhouetted-off form when Aster explains the Destiny HEROes to Jaden.
  • In episode 59, Aster Phoenix uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons this card via the effect of "Clock Tower Prison". This card's first effect then activates, destroying "Elemental HERO Avian" and Special Summoning "Destiny HERO - Doom Lord" and "Destiny HERO - Captain Tenacious" from Aster's Graveyard. This card's ATK and DEF then became 2800 due to its own effect. Jaden then summons "Elemental HERO Thunder Giant" via "Fusion Gate" and activates the effect of "Thunder Giant" to destroy "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude", but this card's second effect prevented that. This card then attacks and destroys "Thunder Giant", defeating Jaden.
    • It should be noted that this monster was given a purple aura when it was about to perform the winning move. This was because Sartorius secretly implanted the power of the Light of Destruction into Aster's Deck, so that its power will affect Jaden upon his defeat. However this didn't happen due to Jaden's power to defy destiny. Instead Jaden was blinded of his Deck.
    • This card also appears in Aster's flashback backstory when he explains a bit of his past to Jaden. When Aster found out that his father was killed(kidnapped in the dub), he sadly picks this card up. Aster explained that this incident was what drove him to find the culprit responsible for what happened to his father and enforce justice upon him.
  • In episode 61, this card appears in a flashback Sartorius has when he notes that since Jaden was defeated by Aster's Deck which had his power in it, he should have become influenced by the Light of Destruction. This however didn't happen strangely which Sartorius can't figure out. Jaden however is greatly shocked by the loss as he can no longer see his cards.
  • In episode 65, this card appears in the Duel Magazine that Syrus reads.
  • In episode 67, Aster uses this card during his Duel against Jaden. He summons this card with no Tributes thanks to "Mausoleum of the Emperor". Aster then activates this card's first effect to Special Summon "Doom Lord" and "Captain Tenacious" from his Graveyard. This card's ATK and DEF then became 2800 due to its last effect. This card then attacks "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin", but Jaden activates "Negate Attack" to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. "Elemental HERO Aqua Neos" (whose ATK was 3000 due to it being powered up by "H - Heated Heart") then attacks and destroys this card. Aster was enraged that this monster was destroyed and declared to Jaden that he won't accept this from anything except a Destiny HERO. In the next episode, Jaden activates "The Shallow Grave" to allow both players to Special Summon one monster from their Graveyard. Jaden summons "Hero Kid" while Aster summons this card. Aster then activates this card's effect to destroy the two Double Dude tokens and summon "Diamond Dude" and "Captain Tenacious" from his Graveyard. This card's ATK and DEF then became 2300 due to its effect. After Jaden uses "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab" (whose ATK was 900 due to it being powered up by its own effect) attacks and destroys "Captain Tenacious", this card's ATK and DEF decreased to 1500. Later Aster Tributes this card, "Diamond Dude", and "Destiny HERO - Defender" in order to Special Summon "Destiny HERO - Dogma".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Aster has when he notes to himself Jaden doesn't understand the weight of faith that is carried by the Destiny HEROes.
  • In episode 98, Aster uses this card during his duel against The D. He Special Summons this card via the effect of "Clock Tower Prison". Since Aster had previously activated "Greed Pact" to make both players draw one card, the D drew "D - Force", which removed "Destiny HERO - Plasma's" immunity effects and its effect to negate monster effects on the field. Aster then activates this card's first effect to Special Summon "Diamond Dude" and "Captain Tenacious" from his Graveyard. This card's ATK and DEF then became 2200 due to its own effect. A replay occurs and the D uses "Plasma" to attack this card, but due to this card's second effect, Destiny HERO monsters can't be destroyed this turn and Aster takes no Battle Damage when they battle this turn. After the D activates "D - Force" and places it back on top of his Deck, all of this card's effects are negated and its ATK and DEF returned to 0. The D then activates "Unfair Judge". to conduct another Battle Phase and allow "Plasma" to attack every monster Aster controls once each. "Plasma" then attacks and destroys "Diamond Dude", "Captain Tenacious", and this card.
    • This card also appears in a flashback the D has when he explains that he got "Destiny HERO - Plasma" after he found a sketch of the card that belonged to Aster. After the D shoves away Mr. Phoenix, this card, along with many other cards, is shown dropping to the ground before the Light of Destruction takes control of the D.
    • This card also appears in Aster's thoughts when he reminds himself that he believes in the Destiny HERO monsters left by his father.
  • Aster later used this card in his duel against Adrian Gecko. It is summoned via "Clock Tower Prison"'s effect. Aster then uses this card's effect to bring back "Destiny HERO - Disk Commander". This card's ATK and DEF then become 2900 due to its effect. Since this card was Special Summoned via "Clock Tower Prison", no Destiny HEROes Aster controls can be destroyed this turn and Aster will take no Battle Damage when they battle. After "Destiny HERO - Dunker", "Disk Commander", and "Diamond Dude" all attack, Aster tries to win the duel by having this card attack Adrian directly, but Adrian activates "Dimensional Prison" to banish this card, saving himself.
  • Its attack in the Japanese anime is called Predator of Dreadnought while its effects are called Dread Roar (revival) and Dread Mire (protection).
