In episode 138, Seto Kaiba gave this card to Yugi Muto. The former had intended to use to defeat Yami Marik's "The Winged Dragon of Ra". After he lost to Yugi, Mokuba convinces him to give the card to Yugi.

In episode 139, Yami Yugi drew this card with the effect of "Zombie's Jewel". When Yami Marik tried to defeat Yami Yugi by having his "The Winged Dragon of Ra" attack Yami Yugi directly, Yami Yugi activated this card, summoning a "Metal Fiend Token" to block the attack. This nearly defeated Marik as he would have taken the damage that Yugi would receive from the attack if the attack hits the token. In addition since he is fused with "Ra" at the time, he will be wiped out too. Marik is able to survive by using "De-Fusion", restoring his Life Points and separating himself from "Ra". This also stopped the attack Yami Marik made, saving himself. Yugi then paid 1000 Life Points to keep the "Metal Fiend Token" on the field. He then uses "Multiply" to create two more copies of the Summoned "Metal Fiend Token". He then Tributed the three of them to Summon "Obelisk the Tormentor". In the manga version, the token's ATK was equal to the opponent's Life Points.

Yako Tenma used this card against Yami Yugi in combination with "THE DEVIL'S AVATAR", which caused the latter to transform into a black version of Little Yugi.

In episode 24, Czar played two copies of this card during his duel with Chazz Princeton. This in turn summons two "Metal Fiend Tokens". Czar then Tributes the two "Metal Fiend Tokens" to Summon "Zoa".

In episode 34, this card is shown in Kaibaman's Deck when he searches it using "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands".

In episode 39, Chazz played this card against Don Zaloog. He uses it to summon a "Metal Fiend Token". Chazz then Tributed the token to Summon "Armed Dragon LV5".

In episode 97, The D played two copies of this card against Doctor Collector. This in turn summons two "Metal Fiend Tokens". He then Tributed the two tokens and "Enigma the Creator" to Special Summon "Destiny Hero - Plasma".

In episode 98, The D played this card against Aster Phoenix. He uses it to summons a "Metal Fiend Token". He then Tributes the token and his two "Plasma Tokens" to Special Summon "Plasma".
