- In episode 2 of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Trudge is given a new deck to use in a rematch against Yusei Fudo. When he looks through the deck, "Gate Blocker" is one of the cards seen.
- In episode 3, Trudge Summons this card and forces Yusei to slow down because it appears directly in front of his Duel Runner.
