Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

• Honest is a Duel Spirit acting as an impostor of a missing Obelisk Blue student named Yusuke Fujiwara in the fourth season of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

• He seems to be Yusuke Fujiwara's ace card before taking him out of his deck (because he didn't want to involve Honest in his study of Darkness), and Honest was likely his Spirit Partner.

• The Duel Spirit somehow got out of Yusuke's safekeeping and started searching information on his missing master. He hypnotizes most of the students into thinking that he is an old friend of theirs since their first year. When his first attempt to get rid of the infected cards failed, he secretly uses his powers to burn them to ashes. He then heads for the Abandoned Dorm to find the answers on where his master is. He then gets chased by the darkness that was in the infected cards, but eventually gets to a dead end. The darkness then forms into the person known as Trueman. Before Trueman could attack Honest, Jaden arrives to save him. Jaden then defeats Trueman in a duel. When Jaden questions on who he is and why Trueman was after him, Honest tries to hypnotize Jaden, but it doesn't work due to Jaden using Yubel's powers. Honest gets away from Jaden, leaving behind a feather. Jaden at some point after that(presumingly when he and Atticus went into the Abandoned Dorm to find the answers about Yusuke) found this card somewhere presumingly in the Abandoned Dorm.

• Jaden Yuki and his friends later come across Honest again after Atticus finds out all he remembers about Yusuke through a duel. Jaden then brandishes this card in front of the Duel Spirit and orders the Spirit to reveal himself since he knows he is not Yusuke. Honest then assumes his true form. When Alexis and Chazz take Atticus to safety, Honest attacks Atticus as he believes Atticus is responsible for what happened to his master, but Jaden blocks the attack with his Duel Disk. Jaden's friends leave while Jaden holds off Honest. Honest attacks Jaden, but Axel shoots some cards to absorb the attack. Jaden and Axel run out of the abandoned duel. Honest follows after them. Jaden tries to convince Honest to stop, but Honest doesn't listen. He blames Atticus for what happened to Yusuke, but Atticus tries to tell Honest that he was trying to save Yusuke. When Honest attacks again, Axel fires "Volcanic Shell" and "Volcanic Scattershot" at the attack, but he then runs out of cards to shoot. Jaden then summons "Elemental HERO Neos" and uses "Yubel"'s powers to make "Neos" physically appear and destroy the feather dart attacks. Jaden then reveals that he has Yubel within his soul. Honest then explains what is going on in the Duel Monster Spirit World and the real world. Before he gets any further he is attacked by Trueman and knocked out. Jaden then goes to Honest to check if he is okay. Honest then honestly reveals why he went very far to find his master and why he tried to attack Atticus. Jaden then reveals why Yusuke really sealed Honest off from him. Honest then apologizes to Jaden and his friends and thanks Jaden before transferring his spirit back into his card. Jaden then places Honest's card in his Deck and Duels against Trueman. Jaden draws this card on the last turn of the duel. Jaden's Elemental HERO Neos then attacks Trueman's "Five-Headed Dragon". Jaden then discards Honest to activate its effect, powering up Elemental HERO Neos by the ATK of Five-Headed Dragon. "Neos" then destroys "Five-Headed Dragon", winning Jaden the Duel.

• Jaden uses this card in his Triangle Duel with Jesse and the Nightshroud-possessed Yusuke. This card's spirit appeared alongside Jaden and tried to help Yusuke remember those who are really important to him during the Duel, but it is to of no avail for most of the Duel as Nightshroud's control over Yusuke was too powerful. Jaden draws this card via the effect of "Cut Jewel". Once it was Jaden's turn, he summons "Honest" to the field. He then uses "Honest" to attack and destroy Yusuke's "Clear Cube". This card is then attacked by "Clear Vicious Knight" powered up by its own effect, but Jesse activates "The One to be Protected" to protect this card from being destroyed and prevent Jaden from taking any Battle Damage from the attack by sending "Rainbow Dragon" to the Graveyard. However Jesse then took damage equal to the ATK of "Rainbow Dragon", defeating him. After Jaden Fusion Summons "Rainbow Neos", Nightshroud claims Jaden still can't create a miracle since "Clear Vicious Knight" will gain ATK equal to the ATK of the strongest monster his opponent controls. When Yusuke tells Jaden to disappear into the World of Darkness, Jaden exploits out Nightshroud's weakpoint which was Nightshroud controlling Yusuke from within the latter's mind as a shadow. Due to revealing this, Nightshroud's control over Yusuke begins to weaken. Jaden then uses the effect of "Honest" to return it to his hand. This allows the spirit of "Honest" to go to Yusuke and expel out Nightshroud. Once "Rainbow Neos" attacks "Clear Vicious Knight", Jaden discards Honest to increase the ATK of "Rainbow Neo" by the ATK of "Clear Vicious Knight" until the End Phase. "Rainbow Neos" then destroys Yusuke's "Clear Vicious Knight", winning Jaden the Duel. Yusuke then remembers everything from his past and thanks "Honest" before passing out. After Nightshroud is finally defeated, Jaden returns this card to Yusuke.

• His attack name is Honest Feather Shoot, while effect name Honest Crying.

• (NOTE: In the anime, "Honest" powered up Level 7 or higher Warrior-Type monsters instead of LIGHT monsters. The fact that "Elemental Hero Neos" and "Rainbow Neos" were also LIGHT monsters is purely coincidental.)

• This is used by Anna, Alina Noula, Arcana Force 0 - The Fool, Fight, Gamma, Graton, Helio, Lagoon Noula, Salida Noula and Sekizato in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2009: Stardust Accelerator.

• Nelson uses this in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011: Over the Nexus.
