Yu-Gi-Oh!
- In episode 1, Yami Yugi draws this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. Yugi notes to himself this won't help in defeating "Saggi the Dark Clown", so he decides to defend until he gets a monster strong enough. On the final turn, Yugi draws "Exodia the Forbidden One", As Yugi now had all five pieces in his hand, he summons "Exodia" who destroys all three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" and wins Yugi the Duel.
- In episode 3, Weevil Underwood asked Yugi if he could look at his Exodia pieces. Yugi does so, but right after seeing the Exodia cards, Weevil throws Yugi's Exodia cards overboard to insure that Yugi can't use them to help him win his Duels in Duelist Kingdom. Despite Joey Wheeler jumping in to try and save the cards, he only recovers two pieces.
- In episode 55, Rare Hunter uses this card during his Duel against Joey. After Seeker got all five piece of Exodia into his hand, he won the Duel through an Automatic Win. After the Duel, Seeker revealed to Joey he had 3 complete sets of Exodia to insure him of his victories.
- In episode 56, Rare Hunter draws this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. In the next episode, he tried to get all five pieces of Exodia into his hand, but Yami Yugi activates "Time Seal" to skip his next Draw Phase. Yami then activates "Lightforce Sword" to banish "Right Arm of the Forbidden One" for three turns. Rare Hunter later drew another copy of this card which was not the card he needed (he was trying to get another "Right Arm of the Forbidden One"). Eventually Yami activates "Chain Destruction" to destroy the "Exodia the Forbidden One" cards in the Rare Hunter's hand and Deck, preventing him from getting all five pieces into his hand permanently.
- In episode 99, this card appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck before his Duel against Gansley.
- In episode 106, this card can be seen when Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor, and Serenity Wheeler were building their Virtual World Decks for their Duel against Nezbitt.
- In episode 108, this card can be seen when Seto Kaiba was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Leichter.
- In episode 111, this card is shown when Yami Yugi and Joey were selecting cards for their Duel against the Big Five.
- In episode 120, Gozaburo Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. This card, "Left Leg of the Forbidden One", "Left Arm of the Forbidden One", "Right Arm of the Forbidden One", and "Exodia the Forbidden One" were selected for the effect of "Painful Choice". Seto chooses "Right Arm of the Forbidden One" to be added to Gozaburo's hand. The remaining parts go to the Graveyard. "Right Arm of the Forbidden One" is then set in Defense Position. "Vorse Raider" then attacks and destroys "Right Arm of the Forbidden One". Gozaburo then activates "Contract with Exodia" to summon "Exodia Necross". This card grants "Exodia Necross" immunity to destruction from Trap Card effects. In the next episode, Seto activates the effect of "Soul Demolition" five times to banish all five pieces of Exodia from the Graveyard and make "Exodia Necross" vulnerable.
