OCG Rulings
- The "If this card attacks, it is unaffected by other cards' effects until the end of the Damage Step." effect is a Continuous Effect. (It is applied when either this card attacks a monster, or when this card attacks directly.)[1]
- After the effect of "Spiritual Beast Apelio" is applied, this card will have 3100 ATK and 900 DEF. If this card attacks, this card's effect is applied, and it will have 2600 ATK and 400 DEF. After that, when you return to the Battle Step, this card is affected by the effect of "Spiritual Beast Apelio" again, and it will have 3100 ATK and 900 DEF.[2]
"Ritual Beast Ulti" monster Rulings
OCG Rulings
- This card cannot be Fusion Summoned with "Polymerization".[1][3][4]
- Even after this card is Special Summoned once, it cannot be Special Summoned with "Monster Reborn".[1][3][4]
- The "During either player's turn: You can return this card you control to the Extra Deck, then target 2 of your banished monsters (1 "Ritual Beast Tamer" monster and 1 "Spiritual Beast" monster); Special Summon them in Defense Position." effect is a Quick Effect. (It targets 1 of your banished "Ritual Beast Tamer" monsters and 1 of your banished "Spiritual Beast" monsters. It cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)[1][3][4]
- Since Special Summoning "Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio" or "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" is not a Fusion Summon, they can be Special Summoned even if the effect of "Non-Fusion Area" is being applied.[5]
- After the effect of "Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio" is activated by targeting "Ritual Beast Tamer Lara" and "Spiritual Beast Apelio", even if 1 of the targeted monster is no longer banished by the effect of "Burial from a Different Dimension", the other targeted monster is Special Summoned as usual. (You cannot Special Summon another "Ritual Beast Tamer Lara" or "Spiritual Beast Apelio" during the same turn.)[6]
- "Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio" can be targeted by "De-Fusion". It is returned to the Extra Deck, but since it was not Fusion Summoned, the "if all the Fusion Material Monsters that were used for its Fusion Summon are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon all of them." effect be cannot applied.[7]
- Face-down "Ritual Beast Tamer" monsters and "Spiritual Beast" monsters can be banished to Special Summon "Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio".[8]
