Card Trivia:Malefic Paradox Dragon
- This is the only "Malefic" Synchro Monster.
- This card is tied with "Malefic Rainbow Dragon" and "Malefic Cyber End Dragon" for being the 2nd strongest Malefic monster, even though Malefic Paradox Dragon has higher DEF.
- Currently this card is tied for the Synchro Monster with the highest ATK, the other are "Majestic Red Dragon", "Odin, Father of the Aesir", "T.G. Halberd Cannon", and "Shooting Quasar Dragon".
- This card appears on the artwork of "Malefic Paradigm Shift".
- This card, "Malefic Parallel Gear" and "Malefic Truth Dragon" are the only Malefic monsters that allow other monsters you control to attack.
- This card's relation to "Malefic Truth Dragon" represents the nature of a paradox; though it may seem impossible, it is in fact true.
- These two cards also represent Paradox himself; "Malefic Paradox Dragon" is the colours of his mask, while Malefic Truth Dragon is the colour of his hair.
- Despite its restrictions, this card has more easy and fast summoning conditions than other Level 10 "Synchro Monsters" with high ATK and DEF (4000/4000).
- This is the only Synchro monster, (or "Malefic" monster for that matter), that requires a specific Field Spell to remain on the field ("Malefic World").
- The only Malefic monster to have its own name written in its card text. ("There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic Paradox Dragon" on the field.") Other Malefic monsters have only written "Malefic" monster in their card text. ("There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field".)
- This card's effect of Special Summoning a Synchro Monster from the Graveyard could be symbolic of the Meklords, which also use Synchro monsters against the opponent (considering Paradox is also in league with Z-one, this is a stronger connection).
- The end of its tail vaguely resembles the Millennium Puzzle.
