- This card can be searched by "Duelist Genesis", "Hidden Armory", "Armory Call", "Vylon Cube", "Power Tool Dragon", "Ashoka Pillar", "Noble Knight's Spearholder", "Tool Box", "Infernoble Knight - Roland", "Gearbreed", "Vylon Delta", "Mikanko Rivalry", "Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu", "Power Tool Braver Dragon", "Vylon Sigma", "Fairy Tail - Rella", "Courageous Crimson Chevalier Bradamante", "Glory of the Noble Knights", and other generic searchers.
- "Synchro Boost" allows a variety of Spellcasters to use "Diffusion Wave-Motion" who wouldn't normally be able to use it, such as "Dark Magician Girl", "Chaos Command Magician", "Dark Red Enchanter", "Doom Shaman", "Great Dezard", "Chaos Sorcerer", "Tempest Magician" and "Cybernetic Magician"; in addition, the extra ATK this card gives makes the strategy even more effective.

- If "Gravity Bind" or "Level Limit - Area B" is in play, you can equip this card to an opponent's monster that's Level 3 so that it cannot attack.
- Equip this card to a monster that can attack directly, such as "Elemental Hero Knospe".
- You can also use the above strategy and summon "Copy Plant" (use "Seed of Deception" if you have already used up your Normal Summon). With the equipped "Knospe" now at Level 4, you can Synchro Summon a Level 8 Synchro Monster like "Stardust Dragon".
- Equip this to a Defense Position Monster on your opponent's side of the field. Then use "Needle Burrower" to destroy it. It will inflict 500 more Life Points then it would normally inflict.
- Remember, "Synchro Boost" isn't just for improving the chances of Synchro Summoning a Synchro Monster. It can also help with Summoning Ritual Monsters and Xyz Monsters.
- "Synchro Boost" can benefit a "Fortune Lady" deck, as each "Fortune Lady" gains attack based on its level.
