"The Light of Hope!!" is the fourth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL manga.
Summary
Yuma draws "Monster Reborn" and decides to counterstrike Ryoga. During the Duel, a black card is revealed in Yuma's Extra Deck.

Yuma's turn
Yuma Normal Summons "Ganbara Knight" (0/1800) and activates "Monster Reborn", Special Summoning the "Gagaga Magician" (1500/1000) in his Graveyard. He uses both monsters to Exceed Summon "No. 39 Aspiring Emperor Hope" (2500/2000) in Attack Position. "Emperor Hope" attacks and destroys "Drill Barnacle" (Ryoga 3700 → 2500).
Ryoga's turn
Ryoga activates "Surfacing", Special Summoning "Big Jaws" (1800/300). He Tributes it to Summon "Jawsman" (2600/1200). It gains 300 ATK for each WATER monster he controls, so it gains 300 ATK. "No. 17 Revise Dragon" attacks "Emperor Hope", but Yuma activates the effect of "Emperor Hope", negating the attack by sending the overlaid "Ganbara Knight" to the Graveyard. "Jawsman" attacks "Emperor Hope", but Yuma activates his face-down "Bye Bye Damage", inflicting damage to Ryoga equal to double the amount Yuma took (Yuma 500 → 100, Ryoga 2500 → 1700).
Yuma's turn
Yuma attacks "Revise Dragon" with "Emperor Hope", with Yuma negating his own attack by sending the overlaid "Gagaga Magician" to the Graveyard. He then activates the Quick-Play Spell Card "Double Up Chance", letting "Emperor Hope" attack again, with its ATK doubled. (Ryoga 1700 → 0).
