- In episode 142, Axel Brodie uses this card during his duel against Skull Knight. After he Normal Summons this card, Axel activates this card's effect to inflict 500 damage to Skull Knight at the cost of not allowing this card to attack this turn. Later "Lycanthrope" attacks this card. Due to the effect of "Undead Lineage", "Lycanthrope" gains 500 ATK during the Damage Step only. "Lycanthrope" then destroys this card Axel then activates "Volcanic Armor" to inflict 500 damage to Skull Knight as the latter destroyed a Pyro-type monster. The effect of "Lycanthrope" then activates, inflicting 200 damage to Axel for each Normal Monster in Skull Knight's Graveyard. Since Skull Knight has 14 Normal Monsters in his Graveyard, Axel takes 2800 damage.
- In episode 143, Axel uses this card during his Duel against the Supreme King. After he Normal Summons this card, Axel activates this card's effect to inflict 500 damage to the Supreme King at the cost of not allowing this card to attack this turn. Later "Evil HERO Wild Cyclone" attacks and destroys this card.
- In episode 169, Axel uses this card during his duel against Trueman. He Normal Summons this card on the first turn of the duel. Axel then activates this card's effect to inflict 500 damage to Trueman. Trueman then Normal Summons "Dark Archetype" and uses it to attack this card. This card then destroys "Dark Archetype", but Truman activates the latter card's effect to Special Summon"Dark Psycho Eye" from his Deck. Axel then activates "Buster Trap" to destroy "Dark Psycho Eye". The effect of "Dark Psycho Eye" then activates, allowing Trueman to take control of this card until the End Phase. Trueman then activates this card's to inflict 500 damage to Axel. On Trueman's End Phase, control of this card returns to Axel. This card then attacks directly, but Trueman activates "Firewall" and activates the latter's effect to banish "Volcanic Blaster" from his Graveyard and negate the attack. On Axel's next turn, this card attacks directly, but Trueman activates the effect of "Firewall" to banish "Volcanic Rat" from his Graveyard and negate the attack. Later Trueman Tributes this card in order to Special Summon "Volcanic Queen" to Axel's side of the field.
