Card Rulings:Gemini Summoner
Contents
OCG Rulings
- This card's first effect does not target the Gemini Monster to be Gemini Summoned.[1]
- You can Set a Gemini Monster from your hand.[1]
- You cannot use the effect of "Gemini Summoner" to Set a Gemini monster that is already face-up on the field into face-down Defense Position. If you are using the effect of "Gemini Summoner" to Normal Summon or Set a Gemini monster that is already face-up on the field, then you can only Normal Summon it.[2]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[4] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. Mentions in Other Rulings
- Gemini monster: Also note that when a card’s effect refers to Gemini monsters (without quotes), it does NOT mean cards with “Gemini” in the card name, such as ... “Gemini Summoner”.
