• Tributing this card is a cost.

• This effect can Special Summon either a Level 5 or higher LIGHT Spellcaster-Type monster, or a Level 5 or higher DARK Spellcaster-Type monster.

• This effect cannot be activated during a turn in which you Special Summoned other Level 5 or higher monsters.

• "Chaos Sorcerer" is a Special Summon Monster, which is Special Summoned by the method described in its text. Therefore, it cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck with the effect of "Temperance of Prophecy".

• If "Temperance of Prophecy" is Summoned after activating "Spellbook of Life" or "Spellbook of Secrets", the effect of "Temperance of Prophecy" can be activated. Also, even if "Temperance of Prophecy" is already face-up and "Spellbook of Life" is activated, the effect of "Temperance of Prophecy" can be activated afterwards.

• After you activate a "Spellbook" Spell Card, if you activate an "Enemy Controller" during the same turn taking control of a "Temperance of Prophecy" the opponent controls, you can activate the effect of "Temperance of Prophecy" that Special Summons a Level 5 or higher LIGHT or DARK Spellcaster-Type monster from the Deck. Also, if the effect of "Temperance of Prophecy" whose control was taken is activated, the effect that prevents you from Special Summoning other Level 5 or higher monsters is applied to the player who activated the effect.

• If you activate a "Spellbook" Spell Card, and it is negated by the effect of "Magic Jammer", since it is not considered that you have "activated a "Spellbook" Spell Card" as per the text of "Temperance of Prophecy", the effect of "Temperance of Prophecy" cannot be activated during the same turn.
