Synchro Summoning

• Special Summon "Heroic Challenger - Assault Halberd" or "Photon Thrasher" and Normal Summon "Junk Anchor" (or Normal Summon "Junk Anchor" and Special Summon "Junk Servant") to Synchro Summon "Stardust Assault Warrior", then use its effect to revive "Junk Anchor" and Synchro Summon this card.
• Normal Summon "Marauding Captain" and Special Summon a Level 2 Tuner to Synchro Summon "X-Saber Wayne", then use its effect to Special Summon a Level 3 Tuner and Synchro Summon this card.
• Use "Zombie Master" to Special Summon "Plaguespreader Zombie", Synchro Summon a Level 6 Synchro Monster then use the effect of "Plaguespreader Zombie" to revive itself.
• Use the effect of "Shiranui Spectralsword" with "Shiranui Solitaire" in order to summon a Level 6 Zombie Synchro monster, then use the effect of "Shiranui Solitaire" to special summon "Shiranui Spectralsword", allowing for the Synchro of this card.
• In a "Yang Zing" Deck: use the effect of "Jiaotu, Darkness of the Yang Zing" to Special Summon "Chiwen, Light of the Yang Zing" and "Taotie, Shadow of the Yang Zing". Then either:
  • Use "Chiwen" and "Taotie" to Synchro Summon a Level 6 monster, then use that monster and "Jiaotu" to Synchro Summon this card.
  • Use "Jiaotu" and "Taotie" to Synchro Summon a Level 7 monster, then use that monster and "Chiwen" to Synchro Summon this card.
• In a "Speedroid" Deck, this card can be easily Summoned by successfully using the effect of "Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice" to Synchro Summon a Level 7 Synchro Monster, and then using any method to revive "Red-Eyed Dice" ("Speed Recovery", "Call of the Haunted", etc.) to use with that Synchro Monster for this card's Synchro Summon.
• In a "Blue-Eyes" Deck, this card can be Summoned by using "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon"'s effect to Summon "Black Rose Moonlight Dragon", return a monster to the hand and then use a Level 1 Tuner (which Blue-Eyes Decks have plenty of) with Moonlight to Summon this card.

General Tips

• Use "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with another Level 1 Tuner to Summon "Goyo Defender", and then use its effect to Summon another two copies of the same monster, while you control this card. This will boost this card's ATK to 4000 whenever it battles, and gives you what is effectively three 3000-ATK monsters as backup, as long as none of them get destroyed.
• Since this card gives the option of taking control of your opponent's monster other than the one destroyed by this card's attack, a monster immune to destruction can be taken control, like "Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons", "Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon", etc, or a monster with higher stats than this card, like "Shooting Star Dragon", "Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei", etc.
• By using a combination of "DNA Transplant" and "DNA Surgery", any Synchro Monster will become EARTH Warrior Types, perfect for using it on your opponent's monsters.
