- This card can be searched by "Sangen Kaimen", "Dora Draco", "Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos", "Bystial Magnamhut", "Starliege Seyfert", "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms", "Draconnection", "Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg", "Dread Dragon", "Tenpai Dragon Chundra", "Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres", "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum", "Masked Dragon", "Ninjitsu Art of Super-Transformation", "Dragonic Guard", "Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze", "Flamvell Firedog", "UFO Turtle", "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Horse Prince", "Sphere of Chaos", "Serpentine Princess", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", another copy of "Poki Draco", and other generic searchers.
- Use "Poki Draco" to get more Fusion Material Monsters for the Fusion Summon of "Five-Headed Dragon".
- This card works well with "Double Summon". Even if you only have one copy of this card in your hand, you can Normal Summon it, search another copy, and Normal Summon it as well.
- From that point on, you can play "Dragonic Tactics" to summon a Level 8 Dragon from your Deck, or use them for an Xyz Summon.
- You can Special Summon "Poki Draco" from the Graveyard using "Debris Dragon" and Synchro Summon a Level 7 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster. Try to Synchro Summon "Exploder Dragonwing", as it can't use "Dandylion" or "Card Trooper" as Synchro Material, but it can use this card.
- Normal Summoning this card and then banishing it to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" can prevent the loss of card count normally associated with that card.
- This card works well with some "Laval" cards as Tribute Fodder, especially from the field.
- If you Normal Summon this card when you have "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", you can instantly XYZ Summon into a Rank 3 monster, assuming you didn't already use Darkness Dragon's effect.
- If this card is in the graveyard, use "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Spirit" to go into either "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Lion Emperor" or "Vulcan the Divine."
Traditional Format[edit]
- This card can be searched by "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms" and "Last Will".* Use "Ultimate Offering" to Normal Summon 3 copies of this card and use them all to Xyz Summon a Rank 3 Xyz Monster that needs 3 materials. You can also use them to Link Summon "Borreload Dragon", since "Poki Draco" is an Effect Monster.
