- This card can be searched by "Genta, Gateman of Dark World", "Snoww, Unlight of Dark World", "Terraforming", "Metaverse", "Set Rotation", "Ancient Fairy Dragon", "Cosmo Queen, the Queen of Prayers", "Planet Pathfinder", "Cattycorn", "Horned Saurus", "Demise of the Land", "Pop-Up", "Rainbow Bridge of Salvation", "Majesty Pegasus, the Dracoslayer", "An Owl of Luck", "Ghostrick Renovation", "Madolche Butlerusk", "Earthbound Servant Geo Kraken", "Favorite Hero", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be useful in general decks of Fiend-Type monsters like "D/D", "Infernoid", "Fabled", "Evil HERO", and so forth.
- You can discard "Broww, Huntsman of Dark World" to draw a card.
- By banishing "Genta, Gateman of Dark World", and discard "Reign-Beaux, Overking of Dark World or "Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World", you can search for another copy of this card and use its effect again (it is a soft once per turn). Special Summon "Genta" using its effect when it is banished. "Reign-Beaux"/"Grapha" can return "Genta" to the hand, letting you discard it to search for this card again.
- Keep in mind that "Genta" can only be Special Summoned once per turn, so you cannot banish "Genta" for this card's effect next turn.
- By returning this card to your hand with "Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite", you can reuse this card's effect, now with another monster on the field.
- This is especially useful in "Dark World" decks, as their archetype plays a variety of Level 4 monsters including "Genta, Gateman of Dark World", "Snoww, Gateman of Dark World", "Danger! Chupacabra!" and "Danger! Mothman! (if you are playing "Danger!" cards in your deck). These could be used to go into a Rank 4 Xyz monster such as "Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir or "Abyss Dweller".
- Use monsters like "Sangan" or "Scarr, Scout of Dark World" to search for more "Dark World" monsters. Then, banish any cards mentioned above for the effect of this card.
- In addition, Fiend-Type "Fabled" monsters can also use this with similar methods. For example, discard "Fabled Grimro" and search for a "Fabled" monster from your Deck. Then banish "Fabled Grimro" to discard the added monster to draw a card and activate the effect of the discarded monster, like "Fabled Krus".
- Since all Steelswarm monsters are Fiends, this card can give the deck some easy draw power.
- Be careful though, as this card jams your Steelswarm Scouts.
- This card can combo with "Dark Armed Dragon", as it gives capabilities of controlling Graveyard to fulfill the condition to summon "Dark Armed Dragon" as long as you have non-DARK Fiends, along with triggering "Dark World" monsters effect and maintaining strong hand advantages.
- To further abuse this effect cards like "Necroface" and "Doomsday Horror" could be used to restock the Graveyard and Deck.
- You can also use "Trance Archfiend" to return 1 of your banished monsters to your hand.
